MA Art Style Preview: Lola! (Patreon)

I won't repeat myself from the big announcement post, so this is assuming you're caught up with what's going on over in that post made earlier this month. ^^"

Today's preview comparison is focused on Lola, the school's cosplay club leader! I wanted to include how she looks with one of her cosplay outfits on with her natural hair and eye color for this post, but I also included how she looks with her cosplay wig and eye color contacts added too! ^^

We'll dive into some details and mentions below, but I'll keep things brief in these posts. Questions, feedback and thoughts are always welcomed and will be answered or replied to! <3

Starting with Lola's natural look in cosplay! The big thing to look at here in the comparison is the face area mainly. 

We had Lola's face shape adjusted a bit to feel a bit rounder and I feel this was a good change to make, giving her a improvement there. Of course, her eyes have been changed into the new style and so they're bigger than the current style ones. The expression sheet will showcase her range of how her eyes change for more extreme expressions, but for these comparison views, I like to stick with showcasing their "idle" eyes and making the comparison exactly the same.

I knew with Lola being into cosplay and fashion, creating clothing as a big interest for her. I wanted to revisit how that might affect her visuals a tiny bit, similar to other characters. I decided that Lola would benefit from having pretty glamorous eyelashes, but nothing super shocking or attention drawing. It's hard to see in the preview image above, but maybe in the gallery feature, you'll be able to notice we added a subtle eye shadow for her as well! 

Of course, we added some light natural blush under the eyes and I'd love to her what everyone thinks with these adjustments. ^^

Here we have the full cosplay seen, with wig and eye color contacts in place! This is how you'll see her in cosplay outfits in-game, but the first preview comparison was just to showcase how Lola naturally looks for a real comparison. :P

I forgot to mention it, but her body and skin coloring has been lightly adjusted. It's hard to see unless I fully undress Lola, which I don't think Lola would mind knowing how she is... <.< But let's not give her any excuses to take her clothes off for now. ^^"

You can kind of notice the difference by looking at the legs though.

Finally, her expression sheet! It might be better to view this in the gallery feature instead to really see the details better.

Much like the other expressions for the big announcement post, when making these expressions. We already had a current style expression sheet for personal use and so we've been trying to keep the expressions mainly the same if possible. There are some expressions where changing the mouth or eyebrows, has been a better improvement or more fitting for characters. 

There's some new expressions added in as well, in Lola's case "Flirty extra" and "Horny" weren't originally there.
