If you saw our concept preview last month for this art, I'll just warn you now. Some of the below text leading to the preview images will be repeating stuff mentioned. Skip to "~Artist Credits: MarxeDP & AjoseMp" area below instead, otherwise those seeing this for the first time! Let's dive into it briefly!

Disclaimer art? What's the purpose of that?

Exactly as it might sound, the purpose of said art is to act as a unique disclaimer that's fitting to MA. You know your typical disclaimers for adult vn's? "You must be 18+ to play, any persons are fictional and not intentionally based on anyone in reality, etc."

Pretty much, it'll briefly warn newcomers to MA about the content that awaits them. It will also function as a disclaimer to warn newcomers about our official websites and discord server. This is because I've noticed some 3rd party websites hosting MA and while some do the right thing and credit us, try to re-direct people to our Patreon or other areas, some don't do this.

We'd like to have this showcased in the game in the event where someone downloads MA from other sources and isn't aware of where to follow us officially as fans, supporters, etc.

Doesn't MA already have a Patreon button on the title screen that directs newcomers to your Patreon page?

Yes, but interestingly enough... I have seen someone convert a public build of MA to work in web browsers, which is impressive. But it broke the buttons that direct people to our Patreon page and other oddities when trying to play. Of course that example is also one of the few that wasn't giving credit to our team either.

If the buttons don't work in that case, then what's the point of this disclaimer being added? Won't it just be broken too?

The idea is that the disclaimer itself will be seen upon playing MA for the first time, while going through this disclaimer scene. The cg art shown will have a moment where it zooms in on the back of Miki's diaper and the links to our official websites and discord server link will be "written" on the back of her diaper.

We'll probably make it so you can click on these written links and have it direct you to our Patreon, Itch, Twitter, etc. But the idea is that even if the links don't work, it'll at least be written for someone to write it down and check it out manually if needed.

Will I have to see this disclaimer every time I want to play the game or upon a new release?

The disclaimer scene will only show up upon starting the game freshly. If you have saved data to load from, you'll be able to skip it naturally.

Is the disclaimer long or boring? Won't I just skip through it after a few lines of text once I realize it's a disclaimer warning?

We struck a nice balance between being informative with our disclaimer and making it fun, fitting to MA. The idea is that the disclaimer scene itself feels like it's on par with what you'd expect from scenes in the game, mixing a bit of comedy into it, fan service and overall trying to respect your time in order to get you rolling along into the game itself.

The rough summary of the scene itself showcases Erika and Miki's sprites, hanging around the front of the academy before noticing a camera filming them. It'll be clear from the start, that this is a fourth wall breaking moment and what's seen isn't directly related to the rest of the game as we don't want anyone to mistake the disclaimer moments as canon as if the two were doing this stuff moments before Brandon and his buddies showed up. XD

Erika takes advantage of the camera to warn about the upcoming content for the game, while Miki chimes in to interrupt in fitting ways. Pretty much... It shouldn't feel "dry" or forced reading. The two characters should feel like they normally do while briefly delivering the information needed and having fun doing it!

Erika will bring up the official websites and discord server, noting development about the game with it and grows tired of Miki's overwhelming energy. She decides to trick Miki into helping her out, allowing her to write the information on the back of Miki's diaper without telling her what it says. (Which only makes Miki more curiously excited to find out what was written.)

That's when the disclaimer art itself shows up. :P

It'll feature 3 variants, 2 being expression changes and the other is a zoomed in variant to show the back of Miki's diaper clearly.

That said... Let's finally shut me up and dive into those previews!! :X

~Artist Credits: MarxeDP & AjoseMp

Can you say stunning visuals? :O Seriously though! MarxeDP and AjoseMp really poured a ton of love into this art piece for the game, knowing it'd be the very first exposure to the game's art to expect for the game as a whole... They really wanted to blow it away!

That fact goes without saying from knowing that MarxeDP took 3-4 days straight by creating the academy building in 3D, even more than what's seen here in the preview above. He told me that partly he wanted to do it as practice for 3D modeling, but it's pretty clear to me that he was enjoying himself greatly on this! ^^

Kind of hard to imagine the bg details for the most part are 3D... <.< The trees and bushes were hand done, but I'd love to ask MarxeDP a mini interview about the process from 3D into getting it stylized like this. I'm sure a few of you would be interested to know that as well! :P

That all said... How about Erika and Miki's visuals? Aren't they looking lovely? ^^ I wanted to feature the two girls in their casual outfits as if this took place during a off-day from classes or after classes were done already, allowing them to change out of their uniforms and enjoy the nice Spring weather.

Moving on!

Uhh... Miki, your diaper is showing! Just kidding! We already knew that. :P

So, this is the zoomed in variant. It'll be the moment where the focus becomes clear about the official website links and our discord... At least that's the hope! Ignore our logos for this preview's purpose.

Lastly, our final variant takes place after and to wrap up the disclaimer scene! We can assume their mission in successfully warning you, the player went well! But we'll have to gather some feedback on that once it's in-game.

Aaaaand no, "Miki's diapered bottom looked adorable!" isn't exactly what we're looking for in feedback with this, even if it's clearly is cute! XD

Joking aside! We hope that the disclaimer scene with the visuals, dialogue and as a whole will not only serve it's purpose! But also be a fun experience to help newcomers feel welcomed into the world of MA's setting and what awaits them ahead!

What do you all think? We'd love to hear your comments about this! ^^

But what if it WAS canon. What if they really HAD been outside just before Brandon, Nathan and Joey arrived.😏
