November Development Report! (Patreon)

[~Expectations for November!~]

We're just around the corner for episode 5 (v0.20) with a ton of stuff to share here in the coming days! The wait has been a long one that we've been preparing for and making sure we won't run into any awkward development related issues for the future as we get this content out.

That has been my biggest priority here of recent, is to make sure that any documents and information as a whole for the project is fully up to date, checked over and ready for the rest of our on-going development.

This is of course very important to any given game with a story to tell, as we don't want to move forward without carefully planning how the story unfolds along the way. I can't speak too much on that topic though without spoiling major aspects of MA, but there's very important elements that come into the story regarding the mystery behind the academy and possibly some twists and turns along the way that'll come as a surprise.

While MA does try to lean more on the slice of life comedy/drama genre with adult content included. Two aspects for MA's story that's very important is the mystery of the academy story and each character's personal story to be told alongside that. Some character's will have more going on than others, some will be lighter experiences, while other's could be a bit more dramatic.

With that said, I just wanted to give some insight as to why I'm carefully going about things for the future of the story for MA and not fully rush ahead of myself until these documents and information was fully looked through recently again, ensuring that the path of these lovable character's are on the right path for the kind of stories I had in mind to tell for each of them! ^^

I have to once again say thank you to everyone for being patient with us. We haven't forgotten our promises to deliver on in making up for our lost time in development either! Starting with v0.20's release, anyone who has supported upwards of $5+ during 2021-2022 will receive a personal message from me on Patreon/KS. It'll include a special download link for v0.20 content free of charge.

From there, we'll think of fun and engaging ways to have our supporters/fans come together as a community to receive fun rewards or benefits, but we're aware that things like raffles for example aren't allowed and so there's some stuff we'll be looking into for sure, before we act on anything.

Our hope as a team is that as 2022 comes to a close, with 2023 not far away. We'll have content coming out monthly once again with some quality improvements as well! We hope that as we're moving along into 2023, we'll be able to earn the trust of those who may have been put off from our lack of content for a while. Most importantly, we'd like to put that awkward period behind us and improve!

To wrap up the plans for November.. We'll be sharing our 3rd year anniversary post with everyone by next week! This will include a lot of neat things and looking back on stuff, mentions of stuff and image previews! Following that, will come the release of v0.20, along with polls and updating some stuff on Patreon visually.

MarxeDP and AjoseMp are getting our next cg taken care of during November! This will feature Erika and it'll be content for Erika's episode 6 content within her route. Fans of Erika should be pretty excited! I've seen a few early previews already and it'll be exciting to see it progress further!

Expectations for November for sharing posts, we should see some Juliet cg art related to her route episode 6 content being posted later this week/weekend. I'm sure Juliet fans will be hyped for that as well!

At some point in the month, I might do a highlight commission related post. Similar to last month, where one of the supporters had a commission/fan art done, which we featured as a bonus thing for fun and I assume many of you enjoyed that fun bonus post? <.< Well! They have another one that they're willing to allow us to share and feature, so we'll be doing that again this month.
(Maybe as we move along into the future, we'll dedicate a post each month to highlight and shine some light towards fans/supporters or others within the ab/dl community in general no matter how big or small they are. We don't want to get too wild with that sort of stuff if it feels annoying or out of place with MA's focuses of course.)

[~Sprite art~]

Our plan for November is carried over from October a bit, some sprite related stuff that needs tackled before the route content. We'll expand more on these mentions and cover previews in a deep dive preview, as it's a ton to go over. Along with this, we'll sort out some minor additions that remain for Erika, Zoey and Miki to wrap them up.

Ideally with that stuff out of the way, we can shift focus on KS oc's to end this year and try to tackle 2 of those if possible for December into January.

Lisa took care of quite a bit of stuff in October, most of it being tied to the above mentions for a deep dive preview to discuss it. Besides that, we've seen Erika receive most of her remaining additional stuff for her sprite last month and recently shared a preview of that early this month!

ComposerJF is currently working on Heather's Theme for this month and I suspect we'll see that finished up by the end of this month. :P

During October, we saw Juliet's Theme finished up and very happy with how that turned out.

Still in talks with ds-sans, but there's nothing to report on with this as of right now.

v0.20 will include a new text box and font for better visual presentation!
