2022 Patreon Tier updates! (Patreon)

I've been meaning to update the Patreon support tiers and adjust some stuff for this year for a while now, but it's priority wasn't very high on the list of things to do right away... ^^"

Jumping right into it, below are the new changes and adjustments to support tiers! (Some stuff will be adjusted in the coming months as we replace play guide with the god modes again.)

[3rd year student ~ $10 support tier]

This tier is mostly staying the same. The main difference is that in the coming months, we'll replace the play guide that we offer with god mode releases of the game.

The play guide is a simple post that just really quickly tells you what select choices will have a outcome result towards. But it was only meant to be around until we got to a point in the game where god modes would be worth bringing back again.

God mode releases/versions of the game are simply a special version of the game offered alongside your normal release that automatically gives you all variables unlocked right away. So you don't have to replay through the content to unlock certain scenes or figure out some stuff if you don't like doing that. (Example: When v0.20 comes out, there will be a release post for v0.20 for $5+ supporters. Then a v0.20 god mode release post for $10+ supporters.)

[4th year student ~ $25 support tier]

This tier felt a bit weak ever since we removed the background oc reward. While it is neat to see the written script for the game as a reward, I felt it needed a boost.

We're going to provide play test builds of upcoming releases to those who support us at this tier each month. So how this works, is that if we plan on having the polished, finished version of v0.20 ready and released by April 30th for example. I'll be receiving early play test builds of v0.20 throughout April, normally expect at least 2 of these.

These very same play test builds I receive from the programmer will be uploaded and provided in a special post for $25+ supporters to get a early hands on look at upcoming content, but just be aware that these are going to be buggy and have issues naturally that we're fixing leading up to the polished, finished release.

It's neat for those who want a bit more of a behind the scenes look at the development process. Bonus points if you wish to provide any bug/issue reports to me, but that's not required with this reward perk. :P

Also a tiny bonus, but those who support this tier receive a new discord role "Patreon Tester". It'll give access to a special discord channel for talking about and providing any bug/issues you might've came across in general playing/testing. All your other permissions as a "Patreon Supporter" role are there naturally. (Even after you are no longer active at this tier, you'll still have this role.)

[5th year student ~ $50 support tier]

Brand new tier! The main perk of this tier is for those who might've missed out on our kickstarter campaign, which of course offered some unique rewards and we don't want to upset any of our kickstarter backers by offering stuff that's special.

But we feel like we can at least offer the digital artbook reward being provided for roughly the same pricing it was for kickstarter backers to earn this reward.

The artbook will consist of hundreds of pages of never before seen art, commentary and more bonuses included inside for those who love artbooks for any series or medium! Please understand, this reward isn't going to be ready to be given out until sometime in 2024 near the end of development as art will continue up until that point. (You only have to support this tier once to receive this reward in the future, we'll have you listed.)

This tier of course includes previous rewards, which gives the "Patreon Tester" role and those perks.

[6th year student ~ $200 support tier]

Brand new tier! The main benefit being that we'll have a list of possible moments that could receive cg scene art for route episodes in the near future that everyone can view in our guide post that's pinned on our Patreon page. You'll be able to choose one of these moments listed that you'd like to see become a cg scene!

You might be wondering.. "Why? You're holding out on giving us cg scenes so you can get more money from us?"

That isn't the case! ^^" When it comes to route episodes, due to our budget unless it changes majorly in time. We're trying to provide each route episode with 1 cg scene that feels the most impactful and important to the overall episode. This means that naturally there might be another moment or two in a given episode that fans/supporters really want to see realized as a cg scene.

On average a cg scene costs us typically at least around $200, sometimes it's just a little under, or a bit more than that. But at least $200 covers what the cg artists charge for what we can typically expect from cg art from episodes 4-5 as example for variants, extras, etc.

Ideally we'd like to go back later and tackle extra cg art if we can towards the end of major development, but we still have a ton of cg art planned ahead of us on a monthly basis. ^^"

This tier was made for the very, very rare off chance someone with a bit more money in their pockets likes what we do and wants to help support in larger amounts than our lower tiers. But we're in no means expecting this or demanding for this, it's a nice little bonus tier for the super rare chance as a optional thing. :P

This tier of course includes the "Patreon Tester" role and previous benefits as well.

[7th year student ~ $275 support tier]

Brand new! This is exactly the same as the 6th year student tier, with the main difference being that you can choose a [level 2 CG] from the list, as you're extra funding should roughly cover the costs for scenes that have extra characters or need for extras that add to the cost overall.
