Sprite Preview: Ichigo Yaguchi (Patreon)

Today we'll be taking a previewed look at one of two main character oc's being added to MA during development! (No set plan exactly when yet.) During our kickstarter campaign in late 2020, we offered a few high costing tiers and this was one of the perks for a higher costing tier!

It would seem the academy has a small report already documented for Ichigo, so let's check it out!

~Student's Details~
Ichigo recently transferred sometime shortly after Brandon and his buddies arrived, but within the short period of time attending the school. Other students see her as being a somewhat cold and calm girl who rarely allows her true emotions to show, oftentimes being mistaken for having none or coming off as having a dangerous aura around her.

She is quite the master when it comes to her martial arts and can be seen at times performing exercises before breakfast and after class periods, but it would seem she's a bit bored practicing by herself and would much rather have someone to spar with.

It can't be confirmed, but there's a rumor floating around the campus that there's a beautiful and mesmerizing voice heard singing later in the night within the courtyard or off in the forest surrounding the school. Some students swear that the singing voice belongs to Ichigo, but no one is quite willing to confront her about it, nor do they have much reasoning for doing so... But it might just possibly catch Brandon's curiosity to investigate. But it might not be the only rumor floating around as there's one that's even more dangerous if true, if he doesn't watch himself... He might find himself wrapped up with the infamous Yazuka.

It would seem we have much to find out about this Ichigo girl in store for us! <.< To explain a bit further about the nature of these main character oc's. At some point later in development, we'll be adding personal route stories for these two characters in slightly similar fashion to how the main character's routes work.

There is two ways we're figuring out how to play this out within the game without things getting too out of hand with the amount of characters, but still feeling like they're a good part of the story much like any other character in the series.

(1) - Idea one revolves around having a scene or two added to points in episodes 1-5 at some point in development that helps give some introduction and build up in similar fashion to other characters, then being able to choose said character after episode 5 to head into their route.

(2) - Idea two revolves around having a little bit of build up spread thin through episodes 1-5, but not quite seeing them around visually yet. Then after episode 5, having the choice to choose one of these characters and it'll play out with a bit of a prologue to explain that Brandon recalls having a off screen run in with said character, which then plays out and helps briefly lead and catch the player up to some rough events that begin the character's route officially.

Both have their own pros and cons, but we're looking to figure out what will work out best to fit these character into the events without it feeling too crowded, but still feel respected too.
