Behind the scenes: Nova's route part 1 of 6 (Patreon)

Generally with day 19 with how events end, there's a time skip of about 6 weeks. This is seen with all the routes, but handled a bit different for them as well.

For Nova she's been having a rough time in the relationship, as she feels like things aren't progressing forward. She decides to open up a bit about her past with her ex-boyfriend back when she was 18 and how she thinks it had an effect on her.

With that said, it still doesn't really fix their halt in their relationship moving forward and while Nova feels it's her fault. Brandon tries to ensure her that it's okay, as he later goes to chat with Rosa who knows the two have been secretly dating.

He didn't expect Allie to be over at Rosa's place, but it slips that the secret of dating Nova is out in the open for Allie, who proceeds to tease him a bit about it. He tries to explain the issues going on without going into Nova's past history of relationship. It leads the girls to form a plan to setup a romantic dinner setting for the couple to ignite a spark.

The girls explain to leave the rest to them, as he calls it a night.

The following day, later on at night. The girls gather the couple to meet in the gym, where they've set a dinner date up for the two. Brandon is shocked by how cute Nova looks as she seems more girly than normal, showing up in a cute dress, her hair is let loose and she has make up on.

During their date, Allie and Rosa step in to ease things and let their plan work out smoothly. (hijicks ensue)

While the girls step out to offer some alone time for the couple, they chat and seem to agree something like this is what they needed to help them out. At some point while chatting, Nova begins to have a giggle fit and wets herself. Brandon thinks this might be the chance they needed to move their relationship past the halt, as he teases her and compares her to a baby, etc.

Playing off of her humiliation kink and before they can really get too into anything, the other two girls come back to check on them in the middle of groping each other. Which makes Allie joke around and tease them, as Rosa is a bit flustered unsure what to say.

Things lead to the couple deciding to call it a night and be on their way, which is code word for going back to Nova's room where things get a bit steamy for the two. Confirming that their relationship being stuck in a halt has been unstuck moving forward.

~Writer thoughts~

-Without going too deep into Nova's overall route, things start off pretty relaxed for part 1 and one thing to remember is that there's weekdays that focus on Nova between each route part. So there's going to be a good pacing set for how things move along, but I feel like Nova, Heather and Juliet have what I'd call more complex plot lines going on. That doesn't mean the others won't have interesting routes, each route will keep things interesting and feel fitting for the characters. It's just that some have some stuff that makes their route feel big in scope.

-The idea of their relationship being stuck from progressing, is mainly a mix of awkwardness and neither seem to know how to really move things along better. Nova's ex-boyfriend story piece will really shed some light on Nova's past a bit and it does deal with a touchy topic brought up. But it's what helps piece Nova's story together as we begin to dig deeper into her past.

-When trying to lay out the route for Nova, the idea to have a dinner date came about when talking with Uncleartie (our editor). It seemed like a cute idea and one to really set a story piece around for the couple to try even something as simple as that to move things forward. I think fans of Nova will love seeing how she looks in her dress and the cute moment of seeing a side of Nova that doesn't come out very often.

-While part 1 doesn't lay things down too heavy for the route story, it should act as a good introduction back into events with these characters after the 6 week time skip that takes place.
