Once again a new month, a new post on news for what we have planned! ^^ Once again, to those who decided to stick with us as we head into July for support. We thank you all very deeply, it sounds a little over the top. But without the support, we really wouldn't be this far along in our progress. <3

July marks a very interesting month for us, from the 1st route stories being the focus to our kickstarter launch expected around July 31st-August 1st to launch, there's a lot going on! So buckle in, it's going to be a long post. :P

(1) Update 0.13 content

July 30th will bring at least the main girl's 1st of 6 parts of their route storyline added to the game. Let's talk about this a little bit to clear up any confusion.

So there is 6 routes (one for each main girl) and each girl's route is split up into 6 parts. Each part will feature it's on-going and unique storyline for the character, dealing with things on different paces. Part 1 of Miki's route vs part 1 of Heather's route could very well see mass difference in what they tackle. (can't go into great detail to risk spoiling)

Side girls (Lola, Bridget and Zoey) have routes as well! These are only 3 parts long, but each has their own personal storyline going on still.

So moving on a little, we normally do 2-3 new days of content based on how much time we have in the given month to write everything out and get it into the engine, polish and make sure things are working, etc. But the simplest way to explain how update 0.13 will be doing things, is that we're looking to have all the main girl's 1st route story parts added in this update.

If there's time, we'll try to include the most popular side girl. Which we'll do a poll to ask who everyone wishes to see included in update 0.13 if we have the extra time for it. Otherwise August (update 0.14) would feature the side girl's 1st route story parts and 1-2 new days added.

You might be wondering, new days added? I thought the routes were the end goal?

While the route storylines for characters are the end goal in terms of personal character stories and seeing a deeper sexual focus than we have before in the game as well. The general game's storyline about the academy has it's own ending that's loosely tied with the end of a character's route as well. But the general game's story is told outside of the routes, just like how days 1-19 have been seen.

After these 1st part of route storylines are done, the game goes back into day to day general school life. Where it will begin to open up more and allow players to have more choice in how they wish to spend their days, possibly build more affection with other girls and do some harem style events, etc.

All in all, it'll be like this for the next few updates roughly.

Update 0.13 = main girl's 1st route storyline parts.
Update 0.14 = side girl's 1st route storyline parts & 1-2 new days during weekday.
Update 0.15 = 2-3 new days during weekday.
Update 0.16 = main girl's 2nd route storyline parts.

With that hopefully cleared up on how updates will handle content moving forward, below is a bit of our list of expected content we want done for update 0.13. (based on what funding will allow)


-main girl's 1st part of route storylines added.
-last 4 bg's added (aside from a few weather variants needed).
-2-3 new cg scenes added. (idol event, heather's punishment & day 17 sexual event).
-new outfits for sprites added.
-new additional choices added to classroom sections. (class related choices)
-new additional choices added to days 1-19. (Brandon diaper accident choices)
-new music track added.

It's early to say, as our funding is not fully processed yet and we could account for some growth during the month of July. But as of right now our expected rough estimate at the start of July for funding is roughly 100usd lower than what we're expecting, not to say we'll hold back on content.

But that does hurt when we compare it to previous months, where we've slowly seen increases between the months to hire and supply funding towards new things. Music tracks being the newest thing and sadly progress on that is the first to dwindle right now with what's expected for other aspects to pay for everything. (reminder this is rough guessing, it's possible we could see more support throughout July as we head through the month. This is purely just based on our initial 1st of the month funding.)

(2) Kickstarter launch news! July 31st-August 1st

So the time is finally coming for our kickstarter launch, the date is set to launch sometime between July 31st and August 1st. The campaign will run for 30 days once launched and it's goal of $4000usd for the base game's funding is set.

This will be explained much more in detail on the kickstarter page, which we will have a preview page link to share with all, later this week.

There is many different backing tiers and rewards that should feel balanced when compared to our patreon rewards offered. Some of these rewards that make sense will be offered to our patreon supporters for free, in the example of... If a patreon supporter has spent 45usd in total towards us here. You'll receive a digital artbook and ost of the game, just like the kickstarter reward for the same price.

This changes though when physical rewards could be offered, to keep in mind extra costs for shipping and with how patreon funding is handled vs kickstarter funding.

Anyways, July will be jam packed with kickstarter news and previews for what to expect related to it. I know some of you have no plans of supporting the kickstarter and that's fine, some of you might be wondering why kickstarter?

We're looking at kickstarter funding mainly to help us cover some of the aspects that costs us the most. This will fall on cg art, music/sound effects and additional programming for extra features (mini games, etc.), with extra funding going towards other potential things. Such as voice over work partial or full, additional art added, so on.

We'll still be receiving funds on patreon, which helps us even regardless of the kickstarter. But mainly you can look at the kickstarter funding as, simply. It's to fund the big aspects and have it covered without the wait involved with X amount funded this month > only this amount of content offered in the month. Repeat until content is done months later.

The example to use for this is our music composer, they feel 100% confident in getting all 13-14 tracks for the game done in one or two months tops. Heck, they even wanted to get it all paid off and finish everything right away in July or early August! Of course based purely on our patreon funding alone, we split those funds up among everyone and we can't just toss 100% of our patreon funds at music for July. It would become "Hey guys! We have 5 new tracks added this update! But no new bg's, sprite work, cg scenes, etc."

I doubt that would go over well with everyone <.< and like artist, composers have their own pricing charts. We're expecting to cover our 13-14 track list for the game to cost us roughly 1300-1400usd alone. (music isn't cheap and if it is, it comes back to who you find to do it and what they can offer in completed work.)

So to sum it up, expect plenty of kickstarter related news in July as we begin to hype up the launch. We're looking to have a video trailer for the game done this month for that and the general game, so you can expect to see that video previewed here before the launch! ^^

(3) Further route details (no spoilers)

I tried to give a good idea for how routes will be added and general new days way above in the post. But this is to give some more in depth explaining of routes.

As mentioned there is 6 parts of a given character's route storyline, so Miki for this example has 6 parts, which can be kind of compared to how a section in general new days are seen. Except larger word count in the route parts of course, as there's much more to tell and what's happening.

It might seem crazy, but these routes include quite a bit of stuff going on without trying to mess up emotional moments or feelings involved. There is going to be deeper sexual acts seen, some of which feature secret fetish/kinks that the characters have and are made aware of before the routes begin.

There is actual on-going storylines and plot pieces happening in these routes as well, seeing what each character's story is about. Just to compare, these are not like anything we've seen before in the game with girl choices, where some details are the same setup but with minor changes or some changes. Routes are fully 100% seen as unique, you will not see the same events or stories in any two routes when comparing them.

With that in mind, each character's parts are going to be quite different in what they tackle. You might have some light hearted and slow paced easy going stuff happening in X girl's 1st part vs Y girl's 1st part jumping right into some serious matters. I feel that will make it interesting to wish to check out other girl's route parts as well, which brings me to the other thing...

Update 0.13 will feature a jump button to take players straight into day 19 section 3's pre-route choice selection. In order to balance this a little bit so that godmode still feels worth having. When players jump to that moment, they'll have just exactly enough affection to unlock the one girl they want to pursue.

There will still be some unlocks that require more affection than what was required to unlock a girl's route during the pre-route choices. Which brings in making god mode users having their useful versions still. You'll have the advanage to unlock extra stuff in the routes based on having more affection and variables given to you.

Ideally it'll come down to how players wish to check things out with new updates, some might wish to go through all of days 1-19 and make the perfect choices and some might simply wish to see the newest content quickly, even if it means missing out on some unlocks on their first look through the content.

With all that said, our first news post for July comes to an end. There's some exciting stuff to see with this month and we hope you'll all stick around to see it in the next update.

Mainly the two biggest things to me, is finally the route stories begin!! After so much hyping of them for the past months, it's finally time to explore the deeper storylines of these characters. Number two being the kickstarter launch having it's set date July 31st-August 1st.

July will mark some game dev goals as well, our bg's should be wrapped up for update 0.13 with only some weather variants to add at times in the future. June was when our sprite artist fully finished the major work for sprites, which means simply outfits and oc characters to be done from them moving forward.

With our bg artist coming to a finish for the most part, funding that was going towards them will most likely transfer towards funding our music composer more as we head in August. We hope our patreon funding will stay stable or better if it continues to rise, as it was in previous months. As we're getting some game dev aspects finished and focusing on the others to come, if funding continues higher. Those mini games will see use right away after update 0.13, as one planned is linked directly with Brandon's diaper accident moments to be added in the update. (until then, it'll simply be choices yes or no)

Anyways, once again thank you all for supporting us and we'll have plenty for you all to see about the upcoming update's content and kickstarter related stuff! ^^

Just curious, whose route are you doing first, or will their be a poll.

The routes are a bit different when compared to how other vn's handle them. Making MA's routes a little bit spread out in a sense. I guess it's hard to explain in a text way, but new route stories part 1 for characters added. Then general new days of weekday school events. Before we see character route part 2 stories added and repeat the above until we reach part 6. But aside from that, all the main girl's for the next update will have their first route parts added. The side girls (lola, bridget and zoey) will try to be added, but most likely targeted for August's update with some new weekday "days" added. ^^
