Behind the scenes: Day 19 Section 2 (writing) (Patreon)

Early preview of the writing for day 19 section 2.

The section focuses on Rachel and Nathan.  


The section begins right after section 1, as Brandon meets up with Nathan to see what's so urgent. It's quickly found out that he's having some trouble with what he's trying to mention, leading to a girl he is interested in that he met recently, but doesn't know her name or where to meet her, etc.

After mentioning he met her at the maid cafe during the festival and described her a bit, Brandon linked it together that he was talking about Rachel. He agrees to introduce him to her, as they head over to her club for lunch.

She greets the two and made lunch, which she shares with them. It's a rough start, but with Brandon's help. He tries to help introduce Nathan to Rachel and let them get to know each other better, but Brandon could also see this as a threat depending on if he wishes for her to be more than his friend as well. Letting the player continue to rival for her affection instead.

After a while of learning about her, Nathan still seems love struck and wants to learn more. But Brandon notices how uncomfortable he's making her and decides to hint that maybe it's best they just head off for now, as Nathan agrees.

The section ends as Brandon has a lot on his mind about many events that's happened since he's been at the academy and feels like he has some deep thinking to do before it's too late in the night.

-Writer notes-

-The section ended up being a bit of a longer one around 2400-2500 word count.

-The choices offered here in this section should give off some unique small outcomes and also help further affection with Rachel. It's a interesting section to hint and show that Nathan has interest in Rachel, leading players to choose how to proceed as things go on.

-Days 18 & 19 have both had what I deem as small unlocks compared to recent days leading up, which is intended a bit as things are a bit more relaxed before it ramps up once again back to normal.

-Fans of Rachel shouldn't be worried about Nathan's sudden interest in her, as you'll get to choose how things turn out for later in the game to say the least. It should be seen as a pretty cute section for Rachel and possibly even a bit fun seeing Nathan acting the way he does.
