Heather sprite collection (Patreon)

This is part of a series of sprite collection posts that ran mainly during the month of April and this is the final one. Which shows off all the characters outfits, designs, etc. Rachel and Heather both were delayed with their collection post due to changes to their sprites to their final designs. Heather received a bit of adjusting in her sprite compared to her previous versions we've seen, but overall her design has mainly stayed roughly the same.

Heather is the student council president for the academy and comes off as mean hearted, rude and spoiled in a sense. She has a power complex, believing that she's the academies self proclaimed princess who runs the school, striking fear into it's students to get what she wants.

When designing Heather, I knew that more or less. She wasn't going to look differently compared to her 3d placeholder model/sprite, just some adjustments that were limiting her. I think out of all the sprites, she takes the cake for most in depth character progress on sprites. She had a 3d placeholder>1st design>2nd design>final design. Which many of the other characters mainly went 3d placeholder>1st design>final design or just stopped at 1st design.

One thing I'd like to note that I think many might not be aware of is that before MA went into becoming a visual novel, it started off as a six part "comic" using 3d models. (I don't consider that canon or suggest anyone to bother with it. Trust me it's awful <.<) But in said comic, Juliet was meant to be more of a one on one rival to Heather. Juliet had quite a different personality and it was originally going to be that they're whole major stand off between each other was fighting over Brandon.

Heather even had a bit of a softer personality than we're used to now and while there's some similarities, how she comes off in the game is more in line with how I've envisioned her.

Lastly, Heather's clothing choices in style are meant to be seen as rich themed, mature and popular.
