Hello everyone! ^^ Glad to see many of you decided to stick around, as we headed into June. Thank you and I hope you all stay safe! <3

We have some exciting things going on in June to look forward to, some will focus on new content for the game and some about the kickstarter. ^^

(1) Update 0.12 content.

June 29th will bring with it days 18 & 19, it is possible there might be some more and without trying to spoil any major game stuff... <.< day 19 section 3 is the moment where players choose their route moving forward into day "20".

First thing, compared to update 0.11 which had days 16 & 17 and day 17 was one big section rather than 3 sections like normal. Well for days 18 & 19 it will be 6 sections in total, I don't wish to spoil things too major as this is a general news post rather than a behind the scenes (those will come through the month).

Both days will act a bit like a calm after the storm that was day 17, not that there isn't exciting or naughty stuff to see in days 18 & 19. But in terms of story big event stuff, we shouldn't expect a grand big event in the sense. ;P

Why only 2 days of content again?! and not 3 like past months?

This is mainly due to the fact that I and others on the team do in fact work regular jobs or attend college classes in our time as well, which at least for myself it takes up about 40-50 hours weekly give or take.

I don't wish to use this as an excuse, and I hope you guys don't think of this as us slowing down. It's more along the lines of two major things, one being I've been off work for the last 2-3 months now due to world events, which does help me pump out that extra 3rd day of content. But even before that I was able to still supply 3 days of content, I can admit that during January/February.

But one thing that I will admit is that those months were very stressful at times. Given my limited time to work my regular job, make enough time to get everything done for a monthly update and still find little time to relax personally. (burn out wouldn't be good, as it'll cause complete halt of content. >.< )

So what I'm trying to say is that those months it was possible for 3 new days, but with returning to my job's work once again which started today. I'm sure many will hopefully understand that after being away from 40-50 hour work schedules, it does take some time to get used to things again naturally and how to schedule other stuff around it. <3

The second thing I wish to stress is that this could very well not be a permanent thing, by July it's possible that 3 new days of content could be the expected amount once again. I hope everyone understands, it isn't being done for any other reason than those mentioned. (if we hit $1000 tier goal per month, this might help out as well. As I'd be able to most likely hire on a programmer to lend their hand on that aspect, allowing me more time to personally do the writing/directing side of things.)  

Art work?

June's update 0.12 based on the initial funding received for the month. (if more is received through the month, we'll add to this list of requested content.)

Sprite art content.
-Heather's final design sprite, new expressions for her, new outfits.
-Possibly some missing outfits (zoey's cosplay, lola's cosplay, bridget's fantasy outfit, etc.)

CG scene content.

(Note: I'm still waiting on Erika and Juliet's punishment scenes that were meant to be added in update 0.11, Rachel's will be added to update 0.11 hotfix in another day or two and hopefully one of the two mentioned above.)

-Heather's punishment scene (same as the other girls recent cg scenes)
-Day 17 cg scene featuring the six main girls. (spoiler free, you should have a good guess which placeholder cg scene in day 17 will feature this scene. :P ) [This will also be the poster art reward for the kickstarter!]

Background art content.

(Note: After these 4 bg's there is only 4 remaining, hopefully July will finish all the bg art needed.)

(Note: As promised, if we can keep the monthly funding received around $700+ to keep the tier goal up. We're going to begin adding in music, then sound effects.)

(June will bring 1 track added to the game, the main theme for the game and spoiler free. It plays during day 17 in place of one of the two placeholder temp tracks that's in update 0.11)

What extra content is happening?

(Note: June's little list of extra stuff to add to the game is as follows below. Some might be exciting, others not so much. <.< )

-Old cg placeholder screen/scenes removed. (This was meant to be done in May, some might notice 2-3 old placerholder screens are gone in update 0.11 as I did have enough time to get it started. The idea is remove cg placeholder stuff that isn't high priority, important to the game's story elements or what not. An example to compare, day 5 punishment is seen as important story elements. Day 1 section 3 where Miki trips and falls showing her diaper randomly, while nice fan service, isn't as important. )

(That doesn't mean we're never going to add the less important scenes in the future. It's just a matter of cover the major stuff first, then let's focus on the next important or extra scenes. ^^ )

-Fix stats during days 6-10. (This might not even be something that does happen, the idea behind it is that days 1-5 are seen as a intro and tries to stay fairly easy enough on choices not causing major splits or blocking you from seeing content. Days 6-10 might have some room for making it a little harder, by harder I mean for an example. If you choose to hang out with Juliet instead of Heather, it might minus 1-2 affection points with Heather while boosting your gains with Juliet. This is how the game works with more recent days like days 11-17.)

(This might not be a big deal, as it can be seen as slowly leaning players towards how the game ramps up on how choices affect things.)

-New choices added to old content days 1-15. (This can range from extra choices during these days that offer nothing more than some new details that can be considered hit or miss, not very important to characters or story. But rather subtle details, an example of this is say helping Nova with some homework. If you choose to help her, you'll learn a little bit of details on her not being so book smart, adding some subtle details to character building much like choices related to characters dressers seeing what items are related to them.)

(This can very well also include new choices that fit that do offer some sort of outcomes, rewards or a bit more out of stuff. One thing that is part of this will be adding moments where Brandon feels the need to pee or mess himself, letting the player choose to try holding it or not and how this affects a given area or moment.)

-Classroom section adjustments. (This can be seen kind of like the above with choices. Mainly the idea here is that any classroom sections that have room for it fitted into their section without ruining the flow or pacing of events, will receive some extra choices. These would be focused on class related choices, some examples are as follows: being called on to answer questions, offering to help study with X or Y girl, doing homework with X or Y girl, taking test/exams, etc.)

(The reward can be subtle details learned, possibly bonus affection or variables that are earned that unlock some dialogue later, etc.)

[That about covers our expected extras for June, but new suggestions for content are offered all the time and we have to juggle what is simple enough to add now vs bigger suggested content that is best held off until the base game is more finished. Thank you for understanding, content can be suggested on the monthly Q&A voting poll post.]

(2) Kickstarter news.

(Side note: we've been sharing some photos of character standee's, how they will look as the final product. We are working on getting the physical poster for $225 tier reward done in June to have a physical product in hand to show preview pictures of it. Leaving only the dakimura body pillow the last physical reward we don't have previews for it's art. )

The rough idea is to launch by the very end of June, early July. This can change however, we are trying to gather details on the monthly voting poll for June to see if launching the kickstarter during the expected launch times above is smart or if delaying it a little bit more is better.

We mainly want to make sure everyone has a fair chance at being able to support the kickstarter if they choose to, we're not expecting everyone to support both our patreon and kickstarter together. But since there are some rewards linked to it, we'd like to be very fair with it and consider events in the world possibly affecting anyone with budget/funding problems currently.

Speaking of rewards, the rough idea on how we're going to let this work for patreon supporters who choose not to support on kickstarter.

Let's take one of our first real rewards offered that isn't related to new updates to play. One of the lower reward tiers is $35 that offers digital artbook and soundtrack of the game. That's what you'd expect to pay on kickstarter, but if you choose to just support us on patreon monthly instead. You can unlock that reward above once you're total amount supported "lifetime" has reached $35 total.

Now that is pretty fair I would say, right? Now keep in mind this can't be offered completely fairly for some other rewards, mainly physical rewards. This is because the way kickstarter payments are a one time payment at the time, we can include what is needed to cover the shipping of the item costs and what not with it. Patreon is a month to month basis, where we're not quite receiving the amount all in one payment from per person, hope that makes sense.

So the other example is our first physical reward offered, 3 character standee's of your choice from the 6 main girls or 3 side girls. This reward will cost $150 on kickstarter, this keeps in mind some funding used for the project, but also the shipping price in the event for out of the country shipping as well. Something like this might unlock for patreon only supporters if say you're lifetime amount supported on patreon reaches $165. It's a $15 difference more, but this allows for me to most likely pay out of my pocket at the time you unlock this to ship the item, considering I'm not keeping month to month funds we receive from patreon set aside for such things as shipping of items.

I hope that is still a fair trade off instead of one big payment at once. Now below is a up to date list of the rewards being offered through kickstarter, these are adjusted on their prices compared to before when we last shared the reward list. (Keep in mind $60 & $120 rewards offer unlocking all exclusive releases each month at a deal in a sense, one time payment of roughly the same amount someone would pay as a patreon only supporter for 1 year and not have to worry about anything after that to receive their monthly content.)

(3) Game video trailer?

So I'm pushing it in terms of being on schedule, but mainly the delay with getting the game trailer finished is to make sure Heather's sprite seen in the video is the final design for one. The other is to make sure the game's main theme is done and is added to it as well. (helps the video editor make a professional quality, right paced video.)

I am currently looking for a video editor who has a few years or more of video editing experience. Ideally with expertise in visual novel trailers or opening movies for them and have a few examples of previous work.

-Conclusion-

I hope everyone understands with the content to expect, why it is what it is and don't feel as if we're holding back simply to do such a thing. That of course isn't our intent and in terms of the funding, rest assured it is going towards everyone on the team to try and keep a consistent flow of content each month offered for you guys. <3

I feel like I always try to hype up new content updates and I'm sure I'll say it again in July when it's mainly route focus content. But without trying to spoil or worry anyone, day 19 can kind of be seen as the end of arc 1 to the game. The way the game moves forward after day 19 keeps things fresh, but not trying to completely toss anyone for a spin and wonder what's even happening direction wise. :P

The moment between the end of day 19 and day 20 (the girlfriend route start) will possibly give everyone a brief "wait, what?" kind of reaction for how things proceed. Again not to scare or worry anyone by saying that, it might not even be as big of a thing as I'm making it out to sound like. It'll still be a moment where everyone can at least see how the game will flow through days 20+ up towards the end of the game.

Last thought note, regarding kickstarter. The launch will depend on this monthly Q&A voting poll post asking everyone if real world events and personal issues are affecting or holding anyone back from wishing to support. I can understand wanting to support, but not being able to because of recent events going on. So I'd like to make sure we launch at a good time for everyone and be as fair as we can with things. <3
