Behind the scenes: Day 16 Section 3 (Patreon)

Early preview of the writing for section 3. (Spoilers!)

This section focuses on Nova, Rosa & Allie.

The section begins once Brandon comes across a very interesting booth for the swim club, where he finds Allie in her swimsuit. He asks her if the other two are around and she teases him a bit, before we see Rosa and Nova show up. They're all talking about various things, mainly about their swimsuits, more general school plot news, mention of transfer students and what the contest event taking place is about.

The contest itself is a butt battle, that takes place on a floating raft in the middle of a pool of water. Where the three girls will challenge Bella, Stella, Mia who are part of the swim club. The time is fast approaching for them to begin, as Brandon wishes them good luck and decides to watch from the crowd.

Choices pop up during the rounds to shout encouraging things for each girl to try and help them win their round.

After the contest comes to an end, there's a choice that rewards some bonus affection or perhaps some variables that unlock stuff later? :P

With the first contest done, they're now allowing others from the crowd to join in for the 2nd contest battle. As Brandon is leaving, he notices Juliet and Heather. Where Juliet seems interested in trying to join, but Heather isn't. As he gets through the crowd a bit further, he sees the two again heading towards the stage in their swimsuits as the section comes to a close.

-Writer notes-

-Nearly 2500-2700 word count section. Which is a bit shocking given the contest choices and everything for that.

-I think people might be getting tired of seeing these three (Nova, Allie & Rosa) together, but there's still moments where they do of course stick around each other. As they're part of the kickboxing club, either way. If anyone is worried that each Nova section continues to have them pop up quite often, worry not. As there will be some much more relaxed sections for Nova coming up. (it's just that given the events during week 2 & 3 in the game, there's a lot of club focus and festival stuff going on. :P )

-I think seeing the girls in their swimsuit should be a nice little bonus for what events had to take place here. Hope you find their style choices fitting to them :P

-The contest itself was meant to be much larger, but like many writing ideas. There's a good point of what is realistic to tackle vs woah what are you doing?!

-A bit of spoilers, as mentioned above. This is the final real festival day, but the festival arc story doesn't fully come to an end until after day 17's event. I'm excited to share day 17's section, which is different from other days/sections before it. (It does have huge major spoilers in day 17, just a heads up. Will mention it as "Huge spoilers" on the post for day 17 writing.)
