Behind the scenes: Day 16 Section 2 (Patreon)

Early preview of the writing for section 2. (Spoilers!)

This section focuses on Erika, Miki and Charlotte.

The section begins with Brandon who runs into Miki & Charlotte, who are playing pretend from the looks of it. After a little bit of interaction between each other, it's made aware that they're trying to help Erika pull in a crowd for the literature club. While they're thinking about what they're doing wrong to get attention, Brandon goes to the booth to chat with Erika.

Choices pop up for how to approach her, after that. He notices how bummed out the club members and his sister are that students aren't checking things out, so he decides to go help Miki & Charlotte.

He has a choice for what they can do to help pull in attention for the crowds, between a magical girl fight scene or a romance scene. After which, it seems to have worked, as Erika sneaks away from the booth to thank them for the help and there's a minor unlock moment with Miki here based on previous choices.

The section comes to an end shortly after Erika heads back to the booth, as Heather and Juliet are seen coming by to check things out as well.

-Writer notes-

-This section came out to be around 2500-2700 word count.

-I wanted to make the helping Miki & Charlotte with attracting a crowd more like a mini game, but it turned out to be more like how Bridget's gaming stuff turned out seen in the previous few days.

-Juliet and Heather were supposed to have some dialogue, but I didn't quite want to force it with them showing up within each part of the festival so far. It felt like they're still out doing their thing, but doesn't have to fully show a whole lot of stuff from them as well.

-I think day 15 might be a bit more engaging vs day 16 in general. But I'd like to think day 16 will still stand on it's own for it's events and I'd like to look through them before adding them into the engine, just to help make them a bit more special and fun.
