Behind the scenes: Day 14 Section 2 (Patreon)

Early preview of the writing for section 2. (Spoilers!)

This section focuses on Erika.

The section starts off with Brandon and Erika hanging out, as they head to the rooftop to enjoy the view and chat there for a while. They talk for a bit about a few topics and there's a unlocked dialogue that happens based on previous choices. They're interrupted by a girl named Roxie, who is part of the literature club and mentions that Garnet has been trying to get in touch with Erika since this morning. It turns out they have some festival prep work to get done by moving fanfiction books into boxes, so they're ready.

They head off to the club, while Brandon is supposed to be helping with sorting and filling the boxes. He decides to sneak a peak at what kind of books they're writing, so there's three options to read from. Similar to how Bridget's gaming choices happen in day 13, you'll read their stories for a bit. Afterwards, you'll help Erika take the boxes down to an empty classroom for storage since it's close to where the festival area will take place.

While here there's a few choices to choose from, one being a unlocked choice.

-Writer notes-

-This section is roughly 3200 word count between all the choice dialogue together.

-I feel like by this point for Erika fans, it has everything set in place for her character before things move into deeper relationships.

-I originally wanted to make a fun little area where you have to look at books and sort them into the boxes, actually helping out more. But as I tried writing something up for that idea, it wasn't feeling like a real engaging or fun way to handle the scene.

-By this point, we've nearly seen the literature club members in full. Garnet is the club president, Erika, Roxie. But there's still one more member we have yet to see. :P

-I think based on days 13 and what I have to share still with everyone on the last section for day 14. There's a lot going on from multiple choices that have some real fun outcomes to replay through, to some unique character building still going on. The big thing is that there's more unlocked content, things are getting harder on purpose requiring nearly every affection point or certain variables to get the rewards.

-Without trying to spoil it, I mentioned it in section 1. Fans of Nova should have a nice big unlock to work towards, but fans of Rachel will have a nice big unlock moment in section 3. These can be compared to some of the big unlocked stuff seen in day 12 currently, that's as far as I'll go for spoilers. :P (hope you all enjoy!)
