Miki sprite collection (Patreon)

This is a new kind of post I'll be doing through the month of April, it'll show off all of the outfits so far for each character. Many of you might've seen early previews of Miki many months ago, but this is a all in one collection! ^^

Miki is known for being a bit too energetic, aloof and a bit annoying to some. But she's lucky to have a good friend like Erika to help keep her in check and on the reverse of that, her friend Charlotte gets sucked into her troublesome situations.  

When designing Miki, I knew that for her physical looks I wanted her to be on the short side and kind of a pipsqueak in a sense. It felt very fitting for her personality and how I saw what was fitting for her. In terms of the progress from start to her final sprite, she didn't really change much in her design or personality since the start. There is some subtle differences if you look at the early concept sketches, then the final lines, then to the final version we have now.

Miki's designs for clothing she enjoys is a bit more colorful, innocent and fun. This is the type of direction I had when coming up with outfits for her.
