Hi everyone! ^^ quick post of what's going on and to expect soon.

Moving on, I have good news that our gui elements are finally finished as of today. So with that in mind it'd be a little silly to assume the new gui stuff will be in the update on the 30th of this month. :P But, there's a very high chance that update 0.08 (end of February) will feature the overhauled final gui elements added to the game. We'll have more preview mock ups of these gui elements to show you all as we begin replacing the old stuff with the new. ^^
For any of you who are new supporters or just curious as to what to expect for content coming up on the 30th. (update 0.07)
The goal is to aim for 3-4 new days of content per month, with 4 days being ideal. But at times it might be cut short due to other big things being added, like gui for example. Not to say that update can't still aim for 4 new days also, it's just going to depend how time consuming it'll be to get the gui working in engine.
Normally you can expect 1-2 new character sprites added per month, this month's update being the exception with all the main girls and Juliet seen.
Then on the cg art side, normally this is affected majorly by funding. But right now we're able to afford 2 cg scenes per month added. (which should be more in line with being 5-6 per month, but I'm just happy there's some progress there at all. roughly 75usd per scene.)
That normally covers the average for content to expect but with new things still needing to be added, each update moving forward should have other new things to look forward to also. GUI in Feb, with Feb also introducing final bg art being started on over time too. game logo/title would be another big thing and the goal is to have a kickstarter ready by late spring with more to show off.
I've talked about the kickstarter idea in the past, but to keep it simple. Supporters vs backing rewards will be set up fairly so neither feels screwed over, while kickstarter backing will feature some new rewards at higher tiers though. More news about this will come in time before it's launch.
We're ahead on schedule for update 0.07 that's targeted for release on the 30th. For those wondering, when to expect it. I'll be looking to put out a changelog post (highlighting all new content) and a post that has the downloads in it with password. This will be updated on the information/details/about area on the patreon page at the top, replacing the "reboot demo" for supporters. I go off of CST timezone, so by midnight once it's the 30th based on that timezone. Expect the new update and the posts on patreon for it. ^^
Starting next month I'll be bringing back the Q&A and character poll post. What is that? Well it's open to the public for comments and voting, supporters votes mean more than non supporters and Q&A questions from supporters take priority over public ones. The voting part is to choose your fav characters or which ones you personally like based on events, story, visuals, etc. If you dislike them feel free to not vote on them, we look at this as a factor if we're doing good with them or not. But we're also aware of the direction for them, so while one character might be more of an open book within the first week of content, another character might need a few times to pop up before we get a good sense of them, etc. The questions you ask can be related to game tech stuff, story, character, world, etc. Anything you feel like asking about the game series.
