Little Goody Two Shoes Devlog #5 - December 2019 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone! ✨

Firstly, we’d like to thank you all for your continuous support and especially for the very warm reception of Little Goody Two Shoes’ title screen illustration, as well as its intro! We’ve put a lot of work into those and having so many of you support it and enjoy it is amazing!

This month we’ve shared with you the title screen for Little Goody Two Shoes, as well as the intro and an animation cut that’ll be featured in the game’s opening sequence.

Keeping up with the development proved to be pretty challenging throughout the month of December not only because of the holidays, but also because the months of December and January tend to be the heaviest when it comes to university related responsibilities for our core team members.

Nevertheless, we’ve been pushing through with whatever needs to be done! 💪

Starting with Hika, as always, his hands have been full with a very important illustration for the game’s very first theatre sequence now that he’s 99.99% done with it! Alongside him, Jes is doing her best with the last few resources! As for Kira, all his efforts are being poured into various mini-CGs, as well as a full fledged CG that’ll be making recurring appearances throughout the game.

In the writing department, all pre-existing scripts are being reviewed, revamped and rewritten by EB to carry them over to their final versions! Programming wise, text effects and tweaking the title screen’s animation has been the main focus of this month - optimizing the mouse pointer, camera zoom and the character navigation amongst props throughout the game’s various maps were also all checked off our to-do list!

December has been a very exciting month for us at AstralShift as our plans keep getting bigger and more ambitious behind the scenes.
