Hi all! It's been a busy weekend for me, I literally sitting in front of my computer for 30 hours XDDD But I guess you'll like the result.

I've started working on the vehicle deformation method after making that video yesterday. This system is real time pure physics simulation! I put 40 collider boxes around the car to detect the collision. With an addon from the UE Market Store and 30 hours of coding, I eventually realized it! It still needs maybe another 20-30 hours to actually functions in game. But it's working anyway, and soon you'll be able to play it!

Now, it's more and more closer to a cinematic simulator XDDDD

车辆破损和仿真系统搞定了…… 这个周末真真的坐在电脑前肝了30多小时…… 不过还挺开心的。这个系统是纯实时演算,通过车辆周边的30个碰撞盒完成形变的,所以是真的仿真的!

目前这个功能很卡顿,我还没有想到解决办法,不过总能解决的XDDD睡觉去啦~狗命要紧。周一快乐!

Emm, I’m planning to get the optimization first. So far the fps drops from 70 to 40 because the new car collision on my 3080. I guess it needs a lot of extra work before adding to the game. But stabilize the car is a good idea while crushing
