...Why would being an archaeologist a good excuse to dress skimpy? Also, what army leaves soldiers and ships behind at their enemy's home world? That's perfectly good hardware and people you can still use. And even if you won the war you basically had a 100% casualty rate since you left them for dead. Unless there is more to the story than that?

Ahaha, about the archeologist costume. It's mostly service to myself and a sick joke. Secondly about the aftermath of the war, both races sign a contact that limit actions on both sides. Enumean left on Earth couldn't go home but still protected under new laws that have been added in human law. Still, they are required to wear a skinchanger at all time.
