Should work fine now, though I got a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of new stuff this time around, so playing it safe by having one last R1 release.

studio works now for me - thanks! one note [ha!] in studio, the chara clothes state button for underwear 'off' is offset to the right from the other buttons - would post a screenshot, but wonder if anyone else has seen this - NOT an issue, just a comment...

Oh, out of curiosity, will there be plans to implement a pregnancy mod/inflation mod like the one in the original Koikatsu/Koikatsu Party?

Good morrow, fren!! I have a bit of an issue that I'm unsure of how to solve. I downloaded KKS and tried to start a new game, but it doesn't go past the loading screen. It just continues to load forever. Is this a known issue? Should I just redownload it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

No, that very much is not expected. Try to extract it again make sure the resulting folder is as short as possible. Recommend you extract to C:/Illusion/KoikatsuSunshine Make sure that you use a up2date version of 7zip or WinRAR to extract and take note if you get any errors during extraction.

I deleted all the files and redownloaded it. It's working, now. I must have done something on accident, before it was finished downloading/extracting I guess. Thank you for your time and effort!!

It's ya boi, back at it again with the issues lol. So I thought the issue was fixed, because it made it past the forever loading screen, but I didn't have time to play around with it so I closed it out. I went to actually play it this time and it's doing the forever loading screen again. Nothing went wrong with the download, I didn't unzip the optional sideloader pack. I also noticed that while the original KKP application size was around 22k, the file for KKS is only 636. Could it be that I'm somehow not downloading the entirety of the application?

Another note: same as before, if I didn't click New Game and get the forever loading screen, I would try to click through other things and get sent to the next screens but unable to click anything or click back to the main menu. For example, I click into Extras > Free H > and when I try to open menus and such I can pull up the character lists to choose from etc, but any button that leads me out of that specific menu doesn't work.

I got to admit, I'm more than a little confused as to why you're experiencing this. It's quite hard to properly troubleshoot here though, so I would recommend you drop by the help channel in the Koikatsu discord (https://discord.gg/hevygx6)
