About DMs (Patreon)

Hi there.

Currently taking a bit of downtime to recover from the PlayHome pack, that pack is way more work than one would believe >.<

Now, I decided that I should address this anyways, because looking over at my Discord makes me get a nervous meltdown right about now... there are 136 DMs pending addressing, and this just isn't very good for either of us...

Me: I need to choose between repacking and talking to people in DMs, causing me to either feel bad for ignoring people or causing massive delays on new packs.

Those of you that need help: There are lots of DMs that could have been addressed in a few minutes in the help channels, making it take a LONG time before you get the help you need and want.

Modders and other people: Some people contact me with inquiries only I can really reply to... or information that's crucial that I get.

Everyone: When you get help in a open channel, that allows others to see how they can fix the same issue if they're experiencing it. I have had multiple people DM me about the same problem that have gotten solved by the same instructions several times over.

Going forward, unless it's a question that really only I can respond to, I will have to start referring those that DM me for general support on Discord to the respective game help channels. I am in all of those servers, and do drop by on occasion to help out whenever time allows, usually between packs or when I'm taking a break, so it's in everyones interest that those channels are used.

When I get time to go through the DMs, I'll start referring those with general questions to the help channels for the game in question. I'm sorry to those of you that prefer to talk to me directly, I quite enjoy talking to you all, but I'm only one person, and using whole days on DMs really isn't the best use of my time, and missing out on crucial information due to it is a net loss for us all.
