Sideloader Modpack update source change (Patreon)

As I said bellow, the new mega got deleted again, no big problem though... The main update server for AI Shoujo is one I have control over, and I've added koikatsu to it as well, feel free to extract the attached file in the KKManager folder (and overwrite any conflicting files) to regain access to the update server if you currently can't connect.

Alongside that, I have put in a order for renting yet another server to handle the increased load and am actively working with ManlyMarco (For improving the update experience) and DeathWeasel (The admin of the KK Modpack).

We will get back on track, it just takes a little bit of time as we've all had to readjust our roadmaps without any warning. Just hold in there and we'll get through, no thanks to Mega.

If you want access to handpick mod, it's coming in some way or other eventually as well, either we play cat and mice with Mega or use another service.

Hello there.

Mega gave me quite the rude awakening today, as some of you might be aware of; My account got suspended.

This weren't limited to me, but also a handful of modders, and none of us have been notified as to why they've done this.

In reaction to this, I will be attempting planning for discontinuing the use of mega services. A cloud storage provider that can't be trusted to carry your files are worthless, so I will not be renewing any of my pro subscriptions to that service when they lapse.

I highly recommend those of you carrying a pro membership re-evaluate your usage of the service going forward as well, in light of their poor customer service... not for me, I can wager a few reasons why suspending me makes sense, but suspending modders only hosting their own work is above dodgy.

For the time being, I've uploaded the modpack to one of my secondary Megas, and made a new sources file for updates, you can find this attached to this post, just place it in the KKManager folder and overwrite the old file (THIS IS ONLY FOR AI SHOUJO, DO NOT APPLY TO KOIKATSU).

Since the admin of the Koikatsu pack, DeathWeasel/Anon11, also got hit in the same manner, I'm also uploading the same for koikatsu as a temporary solution to keep us on our feet.

I will further look into other services, more specifically buying a dedicated server for hosting my modpack, and I will also offer DeathWeasel space on the server for the Koikatsu pack. This will cost me, somewhere around €3000 in fact, so it will require some readjustment in my services though, but more information will come towards the turning of the month when I know exactly how economically free I am to navigate.

I can only navigate from this due to the tremendous support from you all, so again I would like to thank each and everyone of you, either you're just a happy user or a paying patreon for this all <3
