Tips for downloading:

Some users are experiencing problems downloading large files (10GB+), this is due to browsers not being really good at dealing with such large files. I'd recommend using a download accelerator to handle downloads of this size. If you do not have a download accelerator, there's a free open source one available here: https://motrix.app/

Yes, the Koikatsu RX packs, Emotion Creators, AI Shoujo R packs and PlayHome Full packs contain the base game as well as mods.

If you already have a earlier pack, you can remove everything except for the userdata from the old install folder, and drop in everything except for UserData from the new pack

It should be rather fast... What continent are you at? It's a EU buncket, but most US and asia users report good speeds as well... Maybe create a US bucket as well eventually

When I tried to download using the US bucket (Blackblaze) my internet security block the redirect say that it is a dangerous page; if I bypass it, the page says that the local host doesn't exist. Edit: The EU Blackblaze bucket works.

I bought the game on steam then downloaded this, extracted it, then copy/pasted into the directory where steam installed the game (required overwriting some files). Then when starting the game, I get the first configuration menu, but when trying to start the game it become unresponsive and won't start.

Can I have my money back? After a long and complicated installation process it did not work and I had to reinstall the game. That was not worth $10. I was able to find a different patch that had a one-click executable installation where I didn't have to navigate between like 5 different pages and discover different nuances about the installation process.

No, my policy is that there should be no paywalling unless justifiable as absolutely necessary. So the public gets the same content as the supporters, just more options in places to grab it from. Looking into some other patreon perk stuffs, but the content will always be made public at once, no early access scheme, no exclusive content

No, that's quite slow. It kinda depends on the following factors though - What download option did you choose? BackBlaze for the region closest to you is recommended for higher speed - What's your ISP connection? If you're connected to the closest BackBlaze connection, do try to download using a accelerator like https://motrix.app/ or similar.

Hello, so I became a patreon about a week ago and every night I have tried to install HS2 only for mega to not install them as a zip. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thank you. (I am on a mac running bootcamp btw)

I'm not super familiar with the Mac side of things, but basically you should just need to use a extractor (for windows you'd use 7zip or a similar application) to extract the game, and then simply running initsetting.exe to start the game.

I'm not in the US, so that location is quite slow for me... I'll get back to you once it's done. If it is broken though, I will just remove it, I'm currently working on the next HS2 pack, so unless something goes wrong, I'll start uploading that tomorrow or so. So in short, unless something goes wrong during testing of the next pack, it's due to be deleted by the time I would be able to upload it from here in Europe

So I have this game on steam, and I have the mirco pack downloaded in the past, and I decided to be patreon today and download the full verson. Just want to know that is the installation of SB full verson is to drag all the files from the rar. and paste them into the steam HS2 local Files, same as the mirco pack?

The SB patch contains an installer, so just extract the installer wherever (not into the game folder ofc, but anywhere else) and install it to the game folder. Should be pretty straight forward, just make sure that the install path the installer suggests points to the correct folder. (It's basically guessing based on where your steam folder is, if you installed the game to a secondary drive, it may be mistaken) If it's the repack, not the SB patch, just extract it wherever, recommend something along the lines of `C:\Illusion\HoneySelect2`... basically a very short path, as this game handles long paths exceptionally poorly.

I just checked, and all RX15 links work fine. Can you try again? Might've been a temporary outage, or it got blocked by your firewall or something. Don't see anything about backblaze outages today though

Silly question: I updated my kkmanager and downloads are now 1.5 MB/s. Is there some file I should fix to point it to the faster update servers? (I found an old EU S3 Updater mail, but that link is no longer valid)
