[Honey Select 2] Reiko Hinomoto Public Preview & Character Profile (Patreon)

Reiko here hailed from Rumble Roses XX, a wrestling game released in 2006. I'm not into pro-wrestling but the characters caught my eye for the same reason Dead or Alive did. I think Reiko is the most distinctive looking out of all the casts. She's unique enough while the rest are somewhat generic and not aged very well. So in case anyone asking, no I'm not gonna do other characters from the game. And there's also technical issues.

I did Reiko and Anesthesia for HS1 before and now I remember why I didn't do the others. The model while relatively low-poly is a pain to handle. Some textures like the hair are hopelessly low-resolution. I have problems with normals notably around the eyes. It's a model from a very old game, an early Xbox 360 title. You get the idea. In the end despite all the problems I like the result, I think she looks great and fitting HS2 aesthetics.

The wiki says she's also a race queen so I dress her up as such for the preview since HS2 DX came with race queen outfit. It reminds me to another Reiko, Reiko Nagase from Ridge Racer series. I'd love to have these characters from mid-2000 gaming era but sadly very few of them have decent quality model, if they ever exists at all.
