31:43 I know you enjoy small details...notice how the old wooden steps flex downward from the trooper's weight. I think that is the sort of detail you'd not see in 99% of animated art. Even the sound is perfect!

Thoughts and observations: - Detail: When young Jayce awakes he sees a butterfly, in storytelling very often used as a symbol for change, and this moment indeed changed Jayces life forever...🙂 - 5:52: Ekko (or Little Man, as he is called by the others) explained in the last episode how he found Jayces appartment, he simply followed him to Piltover to see where the rich guy lives - About the "Arcane": I think they are both idealistic. Jayce has the energy, optimism and determination of youth, especially since he's seen the beauty of magic and the good you can do with it. Heimerdingers ideals got a bit shaken by his 307 years of experience, he has seen all the bad that can happen when people use magic. That is why Piltover was founded, as the antithesis to a world where mages rule and magic is used as a weapon. Since he was rescued from certain death by a mage who teleported him and his mother down from the snowy pass, Jayces life ambition was to recreate this magic. Since his family was well off, but not really rich (like f.e. the Kirammans) he needed a patron to study at the academy and since magic is forbidden in Piltover, he needed to go behind the backs of the people who patronized him, to reach his goal. That's why he bought the stuff he needed in some shady shop in the undercity, where no one asks questions. Then he was robbed, his lab was destroyed and he got imprisoned because his illegal experiments came to light. Talkin' about a bad day...😅 - "Enforcers down here": That is a sign how much trouble Vis break-in caused. They blew up a house that belonged to a council member after all. Getting the culprits is so important to the council, that the Enforcers even went to places they normally don't search. Thats what Sheriff Grayson meant, when she warned Vander what would happen if he didn't hand over the thiefs. The Enforcers would come back in large numbers and rile up the people of the undercity more and more and the fragile peace they were able to maintain is lost. - Vander is a bit like Heimerdinger here. He is afraid of losing his kids and he has seen what an uprising can cause. And the Lady is absolutely right: It makes him look weak, not to react to the violence and opression from the enforcers. 🤔 - Their hideout is so beautifully designed, those neon colours...🤩 - Councillor Medarda is probably the most beautiful animated character I've ever seen and a fascinating one on top. How she wrapped the old, dimwitted and obviously corrupt councillor around her finger with charme, her looks and a childrens toy is so funny and so true. It makes her the most powerful member of the council, since she has always two votes that way. - I admired Vander during the search of the Last Drop so much, that he didn't fell for Marcus' provocations and stayed calm...🙈 - Detail: Vi leaning her head on Vanders shoulder at the bridge is such a wonderful little moment that tells so much about their relationship and her feelings...🙁 - "Good people and bad people": You must let go of the usual black/white trope, here you get lots and lots of grey. In this story are no entirely good or entirely bad people, it is very realistic in that way. 🤔 - Yes the Enforcers were searching for children, but who cares about them if they can arrest the leader of the underground?🤔 - It is imposssible to not like Powder. You immediately want to protect her from all the evil in the world. Even though she is building nail bombs and smoke bombs. As an 11-year-old mind you. A depressing sign how messed up the world is she grew up in. 🙈 - Music: I love "Our Love" so much, it's one of my favorites from the entire soundtrack...😍🤩 - Detail: You can see that it is Vis boot that kicks Benzos door in and can even hear her groan because she needed several kicks to get the door open. - Yes, she turned herself in. Vander realized it after he saw the look on Powders face and Vis bunny. Thanks to Ekko she knew about the deal and the "private mail" between Vander and Grayson. Vanders words about her responsibility for the others finally got to her.
