Thank you for putting this on your channel. It was totally worth it. Even when you don't say anything, it is fascinating to see the emotions wander over your face as the episode progresses. 🙂 To your question who produced it: The show was completely financed and produced by Riot Games, the animations are from Fortiche, a french animation studio, who created all of the LoL Cinematics for them. Netflix was brought in later as a distributor and they helped in the development of the story, by introducing them to professional screenwriters. If you want to know more about it I strongly recommend you to watch the five part making-of called "Bridging the Rift" afterwards. It is available on Youtube for free.🤔 The animation is so great, all the movements of the characters seem so realistic. They express so much with the eyes. The Intro alone, so many emotions expressed in the faces and the bodylanguage. Even though there is not a single word spoken (besides the song) you can practically hear the kids conversation with Vander in your mind. So heartbreaking and so beautiful at the same time. The lyrics of the song tell so much: A beggars song sung by the poor people of the undercity, pleading their rich "friends" across the river (aka Piltover) to share some of their wealth with them. 😭🙈 Vi getting close to the guy with the knife: Firstly, Vi had the upper hand at this moment and was full of confidence, so she made show of power. She could probably react before the other guy tries to do anything, just look how he is shaking in his boots, how she always looks in his eyes, never at the knife. Secondly, since the teenagers are roughly the same age, I'm pretty shure they know each other. They know Vi is badass and everyone knows that they are Vanders kids. Since he is the leader of the undercity, they don't dare to really mess with him or his family. Thirdly they had the strict order to not interfere, they just got greedy and underestimated the others will to fight back...🤔 Some details I noticed when I first watched the show: - Powder inherited her mothers blue hair - The way Vis foot trembles while climbing up the wall or how the edge of the rooftop bends when they jump is so good, I love it when filmmakers pay attention to such seemingly little details...✨👌 - The "real Valdiani" is a musicbox with a rotating little planetary system - Character moment: Powder forgets all about the valuable stuff when she sees the sandwiches - The sandwiches tell me that the owner of the appartement has only left for a short time - Before the explosion: Powder doesn't notice she is losing one of the stones when she hastily puts them into her pocket. So she told the truth when she said to Mylo that she doesn't know what happened - Vi is hotheaded and tries to solve problems with her fists her fists (typical angry teenager) - Mylo dresses very similar to Vi and clearly looks up to her - Mylos constant nagging, complaining and bullying gets to Powder, you can see it in her reaction to his words every time...🙈 She bears with it because she has Vi who loves and always supports her
