Before we annoy Liera with the Indoctrination Theory, we should let her marinade a bit and she should do her Renegade run first. There will be a time when Liera realizes that there is somewhere a really satisfying end hidden in the Mass Effect Iceberg of Conspiracy Theories regarding the "true" end of Mass Effect 3. The real explanation however is, that Mass Effect 1 was released in 2007, Mass Effect 2 in 2010 and Mass Effect 3 in 2012, so the Devs just didn't have enough time for their original ideas for the end. I don't think it is really bad in general, especially the destruction end Liera choosed makes somewhat sense, but if you replay the other ends shortly after you really get the feeling something is missing from the game. But there are some nice theories to discuss, that enhance the end and Liera came close to one of the central ideas of these theories on her own in her stream of the end.
