In Aionios, human life is subjected to ten-year lifespans, with each year referred to as a "term." Two warring nations, Keves and Agnus, engage in perpetual war with the purpose of extending their own lifespan. As the story progresses six soldiers, Noah, Eunie and Lanz from Keves, and Mio, Taion and Sena from Agnus, gain the ability to merge into lifeforms called Ouroboros.
