tl;dr: FIFA 21 support, faster file processing, collecting data across seasons, more career slots (soon), context switcher.

Today, I've pushed the new version of the website that I've worked on for the last year onto main domain - https://fifatracker.net/.

First of all, let's start from the bad news. During the development progress I had to abandon the old database, which means you need to create new accounts (please use real email, because you will need to verify your registration) and re-upload your career saves.

The old version of the website is available at https://v1.fifatracker.net/ (with your old data and account) until 1st February 2021.

The alpha version (https://alpha.fifatracker.net) is also no longer needed and will be deleted on Sunday, 20 December 2020.

Now, the good news. What does the new version of the website exactly offer?

Support for FIFA 21 Career Saves

Not a surprise I guess. The new webapp is able to process FIFA 21 PC career saves. ;)

Faster career saves processing

The old webapp was very slow here. I think it was around 2mins-3mins? per file. This has been improved alot and at this moment, it's under 10 seconds per file!

Collecting data across seasons

If you will upload your career saves regularly the webapp will not overwrite your data. Instead, it will be stored in database and you will be able to access later on.

I recommend to upload your career saves at least once per season, a few days before end of the season (when all games has been played).

Also, keep the copy of these saves on your local hard drive. It might be useful later on when I'll add new features which will require to reupload career saves (like for example transfer history, or league table)

More career slots per account (SOON)

Not available yet, but should be added pretty soon (most probably only for Patrons). Simply, you will be able to have more than one career per account.

Context Switcher

In bottom right corner you have an context switcher. It allows you to quickly switch not only between your careers, but also to view careers of other users (if the given user profile is public).

Other...

From other, less important things:

- Player season statistics are available

- Much more viewable columns on players page (and most of them are sortable)

- More bugs

Missing features like ovr per position or team formation I'll try to add as soon as possible.

So, don't hesitate and upload your career save now on https://fifatracker.net/! :)
