Join me on a thrilling journey through time and space as I experience "The Doctor Dances," the tenth episode of Doctor Who Series 1, for the first time. As a content creator with a deep love for storytelling and performance, I bring a unique and analytical perspective to this beloved series.

Episode Summary:"The Doctor Dances," set in 1941 London during the Blitz, continues the story from the previous episode, "The Empty Child." The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), Rose (Billie Piper), and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) face the mystery of the gas mask-wearing child. This episode is celebrated for its mix of horror, humor, and heartwarming moments, culminating in the iconic line, "Everybody lives!" It's a pivotal episode that showcases the depth and complexity of Doctor Who.

The specials are definitely cannon. Some times they are stand-alone episodes, sometimes they are directly related to the overarching storyline, but they are always presented in chronological order. Are you watching on Max? If so that has everything in the correct order, but just be cautious of the thumbnails, sometimes there's spoilers.

I’m not a huge fan of the way this particular writer characterizes Rose. Yes she has flirted in the past, but the immediate situation was always more important to her. She took on the typical “girl” role in this episode while the Doctor and Jack were competing for her affection in a way. Just not really a huge fan of that. Also because Rose literally had nothing to do the entire episode. I would’ve liked to see her interact more with Nancy rather than Jack, kind of like she did with Gwenyth in episode 3, and even the Dalek in episode 6. It’s okay tho.

Just bought the whovian level after watching your empty child reaction on youtube and I couldn't wait any longer! (also, with you wearing exactly the same clothes as in that reaction, you couldn't either!)

I love this story and I've watched sooo many fresh reactions to it - you're the first person I've seen to figure out the story so early! I think the way you reacted to part 1, obviously trying to connect the dots "It doesnt make sense!" etc. You have a sixth sense that a lot of reactors are lacking! And as a thespian myself, your reactions are like gold dust to me! Keep doing what you're doing! I love Doctor Who, I love performance, and I love that the performance is the focal point in your reactions!
