I’ve always loved Celine’s voice, but I saw her live and her performance didn’t resonate with me. To me, she always looks like she’s trying too hard to impress. The thing is she doesn’t need to….her voice alone is magnificent. I wish she’d just be herself on stage. My favorite is I Drove All Night.

I wonder where you saw her because unfortunately Céline doesn't act the same way, for example, in the United States, as here in Québec, in the States, she has this diva persona that is thrust into her and I think she feels like she has to live up to, while here, she's the little girl from Charlemagne that just wants to have fun with us.

I’m glad to hear that Clara. I do think in the US, artist have the burden of having to do more in live performances because that’s how they make most of their income. By the way, I saw her at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii 15-20 yrs ago.
