Weekly Progress #56 (Patreon)

Hello hello everyone, and welcome back to Targa Florio!

I hope you guys are all in good health.

Last week, my GERD was acting up again. I guess I had been too careless about my meal and drinks. Project deadline is also approaching, so stress level is rising. In this pandemic situation we're in, managing stress is veeery crucial, isn't it?

But I got it under control, so it's fine now.

I already start working on texturing the buildings, starting from the generic houses. I need to do it first because it's related to the preparation for the rF2 version.

I need to correct the model a bit to cope with the difference in the game engine between both sims. It is done, so there's no problem there. 

As for the building textures, I started by listing which materials that we will put into these buildings.

But I might go a bit overboard back there. There are too many materials for these buildings in real life, but in the end there are only a few that can be use. trying to actually count these materials was a kinda silly, so I need to make some compromise. especially for railings and doors. I feel like an idiot trying to find out which railing design is the most used. 

Anyway, I shouldn't waste more time and start to actually put textures in the model haha.

and that's exactly what I'm going to do for the next few weeks.
