I love this in movies also! It did take me about the 3rd time watching, and looking for such things lol! Like "Grandpa" exercise ,also at the beginning, ties right in with the story of him being a track sprinter, and losing in the Olympics! But 1st time watching, I was like y'all, thinking what is going on and stressed out.

Totally agree, great movie with so much going on.. amazing tension buildup, weird as shit in the right ways, nicely entangled callbacks…. Very much e joyed the “I DONT LIKE THIS!”es hhahahaha. I do really especially like just the simplest level of it in bringing the creepy/inappropriate-ass things white people say to black people and taking those in a slow mislead of uncomfortable to absolutely batshit sinister. I feel there’s a fair social commentary to be taken for white people if stepped back from and look at that in reverse travel direction: just how fucking creepy those comments really *are*.
