Thursday has arrived, and thus, the poll results are being collected, and the next choice for you all is produced! Let's look at what you've picked!

After a tight race, it looks like Asmodeus and The Swarm are our joint villainous winners, with Astra in a close second place. I admit, I have no idea how those two will work together, but perhaps picking which hero will be going up against them will reveal just what form this story is going to take...

So let's go over your heroic options!

Matrix

Marian Median is one of the nicest women you could ever hope to meet - which is why she was chosen for the Matrix project, a private initiative to make a superhero who could respond to any situation! Now cybernetically enhanced and modified, the hero Matrix can call for any set of skills to be downloaded directly into her brain... Though this leaves her a little vulnerable to hacking...

The Sensational Sapphire

Samantha Stillman was once just a practicing illusionist trying, with some difficulty, to make it big as a magician - when someone tried to rob the theater she was auditioning in. With her quick wits and incredible illusions she was easily able to put a stop to the would-be criminals, and suddenly had a name for herself as the crime fighting conjurer... With one small problem: She's actually a mage (without much talent for magic, at that) who merely makes her actual magic spells look like illusions. Now she has fame and fortune as a superhero celebrity... But the magic enforcers who make sure that real magic is never revealed to the world are always breathing down her neck...

The Street Strongal

Street Strongman was one of the first public Superheroes in the Unity world decades ago, given a rather unimaginative name by the press at the time... But the name lives on with the legacy of other heroes who take a stand to fight for justice! In the modern era, the inheritor of that title is Elanor Crux, to whom the mighty medallion that granted Strongman his flight and strength has been entrusted. Strong, tough, and experienced, she's a famous name - though, is that all it takes to make it in the modern superhero world?

The Cyber Warrior

When the world changes, you have to adapt. The Cyber Warrior is one of the best examples of this. Located in an unknown complex far away from the action, a woman known only as CW controls a fleet of top of the line drones and programs, standing ready to protect her city. Able to hack almost any system, be anywhere doing anything, she works through virtual reality to anticipate and prevent crime - and when really necessary, her drones can project a hard-light body for her to inhabit and personally put down crime! But can someone so out of touch truly prevent what's to come...?

The Professor

There are many secrets on this earth that man was not meant to know. But, I mean, have you ever tried telling that to man? It just makes them more curious. They probably didn't care before you told them that they weren't allowed, but now they have to know. Professor Silva has been told she isn't allowed to know many, many things over the course of her long life, and she's found a way to know them all anyway. Possessing such truths like the secrets of magic, and the arts of Atlantis, the Professor is an enigma on no side but her own, dropping into stories to interfere and then vanish far too many times to count. And exactly what is she a Professor of, anyway?

The Champion

Not all heroes have powers or technology at their beck and call. Some are just really, really good at working with what they have. Such is the case with Tam Ecker, who has never met a sport she couldn't master. A competitor to her core, she sought championship after championship, but no game could ever give her the adrenaline rush she needed for long. That is, until she donned a mask and began fighting crime. Now she hunts super-villains, funding her new sport with the proceeds from her various triumphs on the field - but can someone with no powers of their own really be a hero for long?

Which would you prefer to read about? Whoever you pick, I can't guarantee they'll come out of the tale unchanged - but even I don't know how this story will work out! Vote away folks, this should be interesting to see!
