Episode 2 V0.1 Progress Update #1 (Patreon)

January doesn't just bring the new year, but also the first progress update of V0.1 of Episode 2. That's kind of weird to type, it's been years since I worked on V0.1 of Lunar's Chosen, so going back to another V0.1 feels odd. It also feels super exciting because the new framework for Episode 2 is coming along nicely. While the coding itself isn't massively different, the structure of the game is. I'm not quite ready to start sharing preview images, but here's some of the key new features of Episode 2:

Preferences - You can now super define your preferences. Don't like feet content? Disable it! Don't want anyone but Amy to be a futanari? That's possible too! There will be as many choices as I can reasonably fit into the game. That said, there won't be alternatives for every scene with content you disable, so the more content you disable, the shorter the game will be!

House - The house has had a major rework between episodes. I won't go into spoilers, but things won't look the same as they did in Episode 1!

Phone - You can now use the phone anywhere in your house! No more having to go outside to the pool to get signal!

House Schedule - With the old house schedule, sometimes progressing character's content could be slow. This was most obvious with Katie, who was mostly only home for events at weekends. This resulted in occasionally having to skip whole weeks just to get to her next scene. I've completely redone the house schedule to try and avoid this sort of situation going forward.

I'm aiming to get the first beta update of Episode 1 out sometime later January or early February. I'm not making any guarantees though, since I'm also getting married in February, which may cause delays. Thankfully it's only a small ceremony to do the official paperwork, we're doing the big celebration with friends and family in the summer, so that gives me some time to get work things straight before focusing on that!
