A plan (Patreon)

So, the game has now grown to the 4GB mark. For a lot of people, this isn't much of an issue, but for some it's quite large. Especially as I distribute the game via Mega, which has daily transfer limits for free users. Unfortunately other providers don't like adult content (it's why you mostly see adult games being distributed via Mega, Mediafire and other less known hosts).

On top of that, the game also has a bunch of badly coded code that is too far progressed to be able to fix in a way I'd like without overhauling the entire game and recoding a bunch of old work. This is a problem that's been bugging me for a while. So what is the solution?

Chapters! Lunar's Chosen will become Lunar's Chosen - Chapter 1 and end hopefully sometime before it reaches 5GB in size. Then future development of the game will be Lunar's Chosen - Chapter 2 (Names may chance). 

Why this solution? Because not only will it reset the size of the game. It'll allow me to wipe all current content and recode the base structure of the game. This will not only make my life easier going forward, it'll allow me to do things like add in preferences settings. 

Sick of so many futa characters if you have futa content turned on? Then you can simply just choose which characters you want to be a futa. 

Never want to be pegged even though people keep offering? Disable that content.

Repulsed by feet and want characters to keep their tootsies away from you? You can choose that!

Of course some things may have to be forced for gameplay reasons. Seeing latex in the club for example. Mostly though I will do my absolute best to filter things to peoples preferences.

So what will change for patrons?

Nothing! You'll download the game and play it as usual. Other than replays of scenes from chapter 1 not being available in chapter 2, nothing will change. I did poll this idea a long time ago and people were against it at the time, but now it's become an option that just makes sense for both the benefit of players and the state of the game.
