So far with Lunars Chosen, I've aimed for nearly monthly updates (plus/minus a week) which has worked great. Unfortunately, it does limit what I can do in each update. Due to some issues, the first couple of weeks working on the V0.5 update were delayed, meaning that if I were to aim for a monthly release, that would be around now and the update would be much smaller than planned.

Frankly, I don't want to do that. So I've been debating this for a while and have decided I'm going to move away from the month update style and focus on just getting updates out when I feel they are ready and instead of monthly, aim for 6-8 week update cycles. So while this does mean longer waits between updates, it does mean bigger and better updates. With the extra time, I've been able to plan out more content for V0.5 which should come in at over 20 new story scenes, as well as extra side content.

For Patreons this is good news as it means I'll have more betas, polls, previews and will have time to react to feedback and suggestions given. So not only will the extra time give me more of a chance to add content, but to discuss that content and shape it with the help of Patreons. Overall, it means more bang for your buck and more engagement with the creation of the game.

So that all said, when is the next update? Well the first beta for V0.5 is already out, but contains only a fraction of the content that I plan to add. I am planning another beta towards the end of next week. The full public release is aimed to be early next month.
