Wetransfer II MEGA 

This release features 5 additional animations for the sandbox and a major engine update - from Unreal Engine 5.0 to Unreal Engine 5.1.

Sandbox New Animations:

  • Padlock
  • Rocking Horse
  • Suspended Congress
  • Column
  • Delight

Engine Update to 5.1

The Engine update to 5.1 took around 2 weeks of development time and we will most likely be on this engine version for the coming year.

Engine updates are always a bit dangerous, but outside of a few major bugs that we were able to resolve already, the build is as stable as previous ones.

We will go more in depth on this in our upcoming development blogpost.

Patch Notes

General:

  • Game has been updated to Unreal Engine 5.1 which increases performance by about 25+% from our side. Might be more or less for others.
  • Performance fixes has been added that should generally increase fps in both Scenario Creator and Storyline.
  • The camera shouldn't blur when characters are getting too close to each other.

Sandbox 3.0.0

  • Speed slider should now work again
  • thumbnails should now be visible again

Story 3.0.0

  • Removed a bug where if you excessive skipped it wouldn't remove the fade to colour when entering exploration game play
  • The transition glow up screen from hell is now working again
  • Fixed Bl*wjob Scene forearm twist

Known Issues

General:

  • First Startup of 3.0.0 build can lead to an immediate crash. Usually fixes itself by simply starting the game again

Sandbox 3.0.0

  • materials not editable correctly
  • folder sorting all over the place
  • cant edit settings from within sandbox build mode but from sandbox play mode
  • twin motions materials not tiling in world-space
  • camera bug that leads to mouse "look" instead move the entire camera position
  • if you are turning in the scenario creator it stops at a certain angle (Mouse hits edge of screen)

Story 3.0.0

  • In sleeping scenes of "dream", player right elbow "pops" between scene switches
  • lighting in museum scene just ever so slightly too bright
  • Hitting crouch twice causes player to lock into crouch pose
  • mouse icon bottom left deforms weirdly in storyline when switching between mouse and look
  • boxershort clips a lot now for some reason when moving around
