Well, it looks like we all made it to 2023! If anyone's still hungover, try drinking a few glasses of water and you should feel better before long. If that doesn't work, just start pounding tequila. You'll have the same problem tomorrow, but you can cross that bridge when you get to it.

Anyway, here are the contenders in the runoff vote:

AN7 proposes a dark fantasy submarine.

Shawn proposes a wizard's tower on a sea stack, connected to a bluff by a bridge.

Wagner proposes a Venetian palace in a dark fantasy or gothic style.

I (barely) remember trying your tequila solution before, and hate to say I don't think it works. As for the submarine, to anyone interested, the underlying idea is twofold. First, we are getting an island campaign guys and galls! Somewhere out there we are going to have some kind of use for a submarine, right? Even in low magic/low tech games, this could get some use as an extreme rarity. Also, what can I say, Milby makes great ship drawings and I am willing to bet that talent extends to ships that go underwater too. Anyone else want to see if that is true? While those are reasons to themselves I want to try this, here is where the idea came from originally. The Duskfall, that airship we left back in the Black Loch. If anyone is playing in that setting, as I am, you might wonder that, if we have someone out there inventing ways to fly, what if someone also invented a craft to go underwater? My party has made a habit of deeply angering one Drow noble house who is known for (in mechanic terms) being full of artificers, and I wonder if maybe while they are not busy making mechanical spiders and experimenting with crossbows that use gunpowder maybe just maybe they made a one off vessel to hide from their enemies out in the Loch. And maybe I really want to have my party have to deal with that when assassins show up from no where as they cross it. Bonus, where does the submarine park itself when not in use? I bet we can get a map for that too......(I am voting for a surface ship that has a dock built in the bottom). Like I said, it is a twofold idea. Definitely counts as just two.

The gothic Venetian palace is the winner, congrats to Wagner!
