For the 50th Cartographic Congress, I decided to compile a list of the best proposals from the past that didn't make it and give them another shot. I think all of these would make excellent maps and I hope you'll agree. Feel free to ask questions or discuss your choices below.

(23rd CC): Jonathan proposed a large prison ship.

(15th CC): Fraz-Urb'luu proposed a fortified settlement built inside the skull of a dead god.

(14th CC): Andrew proposed a small shanty town on the back of a massive stag beetle.

(11th CC): MacTorg proposed a small keep between two cliffs, walling off a mountain pass.

(46th CC): Wagner proposed a Venetian-style palace by a canal, with gondolas passing by. This would be in a gothic or dark fantasy style.

(36th CC): Dezzicus proposed the Taj Mahal.

(32nd CC): Fraz-Urb'luu proposed a map of an outdoor location in the Abyss, featuring a river of pus, bushes of matted rat fur and other sorts of awful things to remind a party that they are, in fact, in hell.

(From the Great Vote): War Wagon: a giant carriage pulled (or maybe carried) by elephants.
