You know those western films where two cowboys stand in the middle of the town square, draw their guns at the same time and shoot? That wasn't really a thing. But it did happen once, when Wild Bill Hickok and Davis Tutt did it in 1865 after an argument over a watch. Hickok won, of course, which is why you've never heard of Davis Tutt.
