「另異新聞」：NASA火星探測器「毅力號」所搭載的無人直升機「獨創號」（Ingenuity），4月19日成功在火星升空試飛，是人類首次在其他星球表面實行動力控制飛行。試飛成功將有望改變人類探索遙遠星體的方式。

無人機是今年2月18日隨「毅力號」降落火星耶澤羅隕石坑（Jezero Crater）。無人機原定本月11日試飛，但在測試旋翼時發現軟件問題而推遲，經修復後改於美國東岸時間周一凌晨3時半（本港時間周一下午3時半）升空試飛。在任務中，「獨創號」升空離地約3米、懸空約30秒、旋轉，然後降落。「毅力號」則在5米外拍攝試飛過程。

由於火星大氣遠比地球稀薄，機上旋翼葉片將以每分鐘約2400次的速度高速轉動，以製造足夠升力。高約48厘米、重約1.8公斤的「獨創號」配備兩個攝影機，其中一個黑白攝影鏡頭會指向火星地面，用於導航，另一個面向地平線的高解像度彩色攝影機則負責拍攝地形影像。

「獨創號」會在未來30個「火星日」（一個火星日相當於1.02597個地球日）期間，作連串升上更高及停留更長的試飛；「毅力號」繼續自身探索火星古代生命及採集樣本的任務前，將監察「獨創號」的試飛任務進度。
