This week, we're speaking with Paris Marx (@parismarx) of the Tech Won't Save Us podcast about recent developments in AI--the grift moving from web 3.0 to artificial intelligence, the idea that anything is good enough so long as it automates people out of a job, and much more. Hope you enjoy!

Tellus is Latin for "land"

ChatGPT has a bunch of weird little catch-22s built in. Like, it can't say the holocaust didn't happen. You ask it about the holocaust, it cuts right to the chase and tells you it's not allowed to do denialism. And it can't advocate for hate, violence, or things that might offend individuals or groups. This has implications if you ask it about Nuremberg, or things of this nature. It places ChatGPT in this spot where the holocaust happened but the fates of its perpetrators are off limits, which is one of those positions where if a human expressed it to you you'd be like "oh yeah they are definitely a nazi"
