For the first Britainology of March, Nate and Milo watch a *terrible* British sitcom from the 1970s that has, somehow, endured. That's right, we've been Frank Spencerpilled--we've watched Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, and we're still shaken from the 'what if Britain was in the Eastern Bloc' vision that it portrayed. Hope you enjoy!

So that's who CWC meant when he said he wasn't being racist because Archie Bunker also said it (a slur/stereotype)

Are You Being Served? reruns were ALWAYS playing on YTV late at night and, being a Canadian teen at the time, I didn't understand a single goddamn thing about it, so if Milo could explain what was going on there, that would be great.

Nate mentions early on that if their had been an American equivalent of Dad's Army it would have gotten remade. There are sort of 2 American equivalents of Dad's Army Hogan's Hero's ans McHale's Navy and arguably the only reason we didn't get a Hogan's Hero's movie in the 90s is Bob Crane's death (eventually giving us Auto Focus).
