List of My Required Default Replacements, Overrides & Build Mods (Patreon)
Content
As a cheat sheet, here are all of the ones I use which inevitably affect the appearance of my game, screenshots and some functions of my builds. If you want to read about lighting mods/enhancements or presets that I use, click here.
UPDATE July 2021:
Twisted Mexi's Build/Buy Deletion Fix - this stops slotted objects from being deleted/moved to Inventory when changing wallpaper, deleting or adding walls. Highly recommend this mod, especially for placing cc apartments.
Twisted Mexi's T.O.O.L Mod - just a builder's dream. Allows placement of objects off grid, manipulation of items to achieve customized looks and so much more!
Twisted Mexi's Better Build Buy - organizes debug objects (and allows them to be cloned), includes build mode free camera, light tuning in build mode and so much more. The ultimate convenience!
RVSN's No Curtain Snapping - enables free placement of window treatments.
Fogity's Hidden Highlight - removes white outline when hovering over or selecting objects in buy mode.
Zerbu's Venue Change Mod - allows otherwise unalterable lots to have their assigned lot types reassigned.
Little MsSam's More Venues - adds unique venue types.
Saucer Light Override - overrides the default saucer light which is big and clunky. This one is much smaller but packs the same punch.
Half Wall Trim Hider - this is partially an override. It only replaces the very first wall trim but enables the option to build half walls without trims.
Terrain Override - this replaces all of the default terrain on lots, on the pavements surrounding lots and enhances the textures of stones/rocks in surrounding areas for a more realistic effect. Will not negatively impact your game or computer's performance. MUST download.
Roof Texture Override - replaces the default roof texture with more photorealistic options.
Plant/Nature Override - replaces the default textures of Maxis' trees, flowers and shrubs for added realism instead of the cartoon aesthetic.
Terrain Paint Override - replaces the default terrain paint textures with, you guessed it, more realistic textures.
