WWE SmackDown 2002 was knee deep in what fans refer to as the “SmackDown Six Era.” During that era, WWE also held a special Halloween episode of SmackDown literally on Halloween – October 31st! It featured John Cena as Vanilla Ice, Eddie Guerrero as Zorro, & Kurt Angle as Ghostface. A lot of crazy stuff happened! On AEW this week, Butcher ended up facing Jon Moxley in the main event for the AEW Worlds Championship. Along with that, Cody Rhodes returned to cut one of the most bizarre promos in a while.

On the Excalibur post-commentary stuff - I've noticed ever since the Covid shows started that they had Tony doing the same thing constantly. It was just a lot more noticeable for Excalibur this week because of the mic they used being much different to whatever they used for Tony usually. But yeah they've been doing this and it takes me out of a lot of matches tbh. It's like when Jericho does the ads on his podcast and they try to edit it to seem like a natural part of the conversation when it's obviously recorded after.
