You might have missed it, but Cid didn't pick the name "Mundane Mann" himself. The Name "Mundane Mann" was the actual Name of the person that the Face belonged to. So Cid chose the Face of Mundane Mann and took the Name too. Also, in the Episode with the Goddess Trial, Ep 11 at 13:59 Cid said that he hopes the Trial is over soon, and said that someone named "Annerose" is the only one whoe managed to summon an ancient warrior. And while we was saying that the announcer called for Cid Kagenou to be next. And now we got Annerose here, which they also mentioned in Ep 15 when some people on the street recognized her that she succeeded in summoning a warior inthe Goddess Trials. Which I really like, that they hinted at Annerose earlier and now show her off. Fun Fact: Her name is Annerose "Nichtsehen" and Nichtsehen is German for "cannot see", but the fun thing is, she is the only one that could actually see what Mundane Mann was doing. Even if she wasn't 100% sure if it's actually what happend. And yeah I would say watch Ep 17 and 18 together and definitely 19 and 20 together. I think that is the best course. Because the last 4 Episodes are just complete Banger.

You guys might have missed but those trials in episode 13 were called war goddess trials. Keep that in mind because you guys will learn who is the war goddess in the coming episodes.
