Great Vinland episode as always. If you've noticed at the end when The Vikings arrived on land and the old lady was staring at him in shock, Thorfinn's glow on his eyes disappeared. Meaning he's accepted all these violence is what he do now. Everything else doesn't matter, even morals. All that matters is his goal, which is to kill Askeladd. Excited to see more!

One thing thats important to keep in mind, is the violence and raiding that thorfinn is taking part in, was ALWAYS part of the plan. He and all the other boys were "playing" soldier and training to do exactly this. Everyone like ari was celebrating because they would get a chance to go to war and do things like this. Its what he wanted and even if askeladd didnt show up, unless thors managed to pass his message of non violence onto thorfinn, this is the path for the norse men in this times. Its just the culture and hes completely wrapped in it now.
