86 EIGHTY-SIX is a show with so many small details. Even after i rewatched it 10 times i still find new things. The story is not over yet. This season adapts only 3 volumes from the light novel, so far there are 11 volumes in Japan and is still ongoing.

I mentioned this on the last 86 upload but my comment got deleted somehow T~T so I'll retell some things about the mechs in the show. So far, we have been introduced to 3 types of Feldreß (Feldreß, pronounced "Fell-dress" or "Fell-drez", are the mechs they use in the show. The 3 types we've seen so far are the M1A4 Juggernaut, the M4A3 Vánagandr, and the XM2 Reginleif. The M1A4 Juggernauts are the Feldreß used by the Eighty-Six in the Republic. The standard configuration has a single pilot and is outfitted with a top-mounted 57mm smoothbore cannon as the main armament and two 12.7mm heavy machine guns as the secondaries. Every Juggernaut also has two sets of wire anchors/grappling hooks. Additionally, the 12.7mm machine guns can be swapped out for two high-frequency blades. However, since the blades are only useful for close combat and most attempts at close combat meant certain death for the Eighty-Six, only Shin has ever attempted to use them. Over in the Federacy, their main Feldreß is the M4A3 Vánagandr. It is big and bulky, with super heavy armor that slows it down considerably. They have a tandem cockpit as well, requiring one person to drive and another to man the guns. The main armament is a 120mm smoothbore cannon and it is equipped the same 12.7mm heavy machine guns as the Juggernauts for the secondary armaments. These new models, the prototypes made by Lieutenant Colonel Grethe Wenzel, are upgraded versions of the Republic's Juggernauts. They are the XM2 Reginleif and are built for high-mobility attacks. Unlike the Juggernauts, however, the Reginleifs can be customized to fit an individual's fighting style. The standard configuration is a top-mounted 88mm smoothbore cannon and two 12.7 mm heavy machine guns as well as the same wire anchors as the Juggernauts. The main crew's Juggernaut configurations are as follows: - SHIN: Shin swapped out the 12.7mm machine guns on Undertaker for the high-frequency blades, the same way his was configured back in the Republic. Shin is a close combat specialist, so the blades work well with his combat style. - RAIDEN: Raiden's Wehrwolf has the main smoothbore cannon swapped out for an autocannon. He is a support specialist who uses suppressive fire to halt enemy advances and support his comrades, especially those with more high-mobility combat styles like Shin and Theo. - ANJU: Anju's Snow Witch has the main smoothbore cannon swapped out with a multiple-launch rocket pad. She specializes in area suppression and crowd control, so the rocket pad allows her greater AOE power. - KURENA: Kurena has always been a sniping specialist, even back in the generic Juggernauts, because of her spectacular aim. Her Gunslinger has been altered to have a longer barrel as well as a few extra systems programed in for better control and accuracy (as evidenced by the VR-like headset she wears). - THEO: Theo's Laughing Fox is the only one that is left in standard configuration. However, his fighting style is very unique. Theo makes excellent use of the Reginleif's grappling hooks in order to deliver guerrilla attacks. He works best in places with lots of buildings or trees he can climb so he can attack from above, as the Legion's armor is weaker on top.
