Interesting small Facts about Tanyas new Battalion (which they never explained sadly very detailled): It consists of 48 active men with powerful Type 97 Elinium Orbs that is capable to fly more than 8,000 Meter above sea level and match Tanya's firepower and mana efficiency. ( Even Tanya uses a Elenium Type 97 now and uses her Type95 with the " God Curse" only if it is needed) However, due to their high level of skill and coordination in addition to their unusually powerful orbs, the unit is often mistaken for a regiment of over 100 mages, simply because the damage done by the unit is so severe. Elinium Type 97 ‘Mobile Assault’ Operation Orb: An Operation Orb with 2 cores developed by Professor Schugel, a product version of Tanya's Elenium Type 95 that couldn't be mass produced. The principle of this orb is the same as Elenium Type 95, but its more stable, although with a far inferior output. However, this Orb is still a generation ahead of existing Orbs used by other countries. It is a revolutionary model that was hard to handle for single-core users.

The Anime's era is inspired by our real world history of early WW1, maybe a bit even before WW1 became a World War. Some facts align, while some are a few years mismatched. I believe the anime is around 1920s. The WW1 in our world is around 1914 and ended in 1918. I don't think we know when the wars started happening in the anime. I never got that far in the source material, only upto where season 1 ends. Dakia probably has an airforce, but maybe made of hot air balloons, or maybe absolutely none given how primitive their radio tech was. It was unencrypted, meaning what's said on one side is never "hidden" in transmission. I want to know your thoughts on which country in the anime represent which in our own history. Just for fun and giggles.
