When you think about it, Shirou will never know that Ilya is his sister. No one is left that knows of their relationship with Kiritsugu. Which makes it double sad for us that we saw Ilya die before Shirou's eyes. Tragic in a way. Also, sidenote, Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm is actually the Gate of Babylon. The one that can launch out those other weapons and chains etc. The sword you were referring to is part of the Gate, Ea. It's not a separate Noble Phantasm of sorts. It's just the Gate of Babylon contains all of the Noble Phantasms that eventually landed on other heroes' possession.

Idk if Ea has an owner along the line. Im not that deep into the Nasuverse. I just think as a Heroic Spirit, Gilgamesh's legend (atleast in Fate) is depicted to be the source of all heroic legends, thus the title king of Heroes. If that's his portrayal, then I guess he tecnhically owns Ea, but at the same time, doesn't own it. Just my opinion

He does own EA, they established that in the first fate rout. It is considered to be the first sword ever.

Ea is a separate NP, along with the chains of heaven. These 3 are his named NPs while everything else in the treasure vault are unnamed NPs or prototypes that he owns. There's technically one more named NP that Gil uses, but I won't mention it here.
